Really too bad that they pulled the audio!! Stumbling across this video was my first introduction to the Ditty Bops ... and I went right out and bought the CD.
Walk or Ride was the perfect soundtrack to the video.
Lived in Aptos from 1978 to 1987 ... for a while I commuted by bicycle everyday to the Old Sash Mill in Santa Cruz.

cool. but as a local to santy cruz, or "sanity cruise" , "shanty booze", "skanky shoes". it doenst capture what i thin of as shanty booze: all of w cliff drive. the harbor and the lighthouse. natural bridges. freaks in downtown, roller derby girls, wilder ranch, all the cove beaches just outside of town limits. victorian houses downtown, closeup surfer shots. seals, otters? , birds, lighthouse field, earthy crunchy people, cliffs.

Wow, two of my favorite modes of transportation bikes and trains all in the same video, nice work. I'll definitely need to make it out to Santa Cruz one of these days.
