first of all if you want to have the long lashes effect you have to use a mascara that has a thick brush... and immediately after I put mascara on my lashes I separate them with a toothpick. Try this and you will see the difference.

I think you should try tube mascara, if you haven't already. If you haven't heard about them, they build up on your lashes with each coat. The longer you want your lashes, the more coats you apply. It literally lengthens your lashes, instead of making them APPEAR longer - Kind like having fake lash extensions, but they wash off with warm soapy water.

I think it might work (and look) better because they're made for multiple coats, like you're doing here with ordinary mascara.

Some people eyelashes are strong enough to handle a eye lash curler after mascara.I do the same routine as hers almost every day for the last 2 years.my eyelashes don't fall out, but that because I started taking better care of my eyelashes.my eyelashes used to fall off all the time just with one coat of mascara.now they can withstand 3 coats and constant eyelash curling EVERYDAY!!.anyway, your eyelashes look great.

advice........after applying your mascara if your lashes are crunchy or is hard dont curl them cause they might chip or break and if your mascara is still tacky on your lahses dont curl them cause it will hurt hafter u release the lash curler

@helena4624, It's better to curl your lashes before applying mascara. A reason why is because when you apply mascara then curl your lashes, most of the mascara you put on will get applied onto the rubber part of the eyelash curler. Another reason why it's better to curl your lashes before applying your mascara is because your eyelashes may get clumpy, I don't think anyone likes clumpy lashes.

You should try the heated eyelash curler by Blinc! You would only have to curl your lashes once at the end. It is awesome. No more pinching or injuring your eyelids. :)
