I have the Pantech duo. Actually I have two of them. The old version the one before they red one was horrible, it hot dust in the screen and froze, then I got the new one (the red one) and it is perfect. So make sure you buy them new and not the old version.

I was trying to demonstrate what would happen to it if you kept sliding it, possibly long term usage. I used the phone for 2 weeks, and kept fiddling with it, it never broke. This phone was a review unit, and it is not my primary device. Enjoy your new phone.

Is this phone really worth getting? I mean it I do want it, but I read a couple of bad reviews on it like the battery sucks and its really fragile. I had a phone somewhat like this before with the screen on the outside that slides up [but it doesnt slide out with a keyboard] and in July, it fell in my friends couch. When I finally got it, the pixels on the screen were all messed up. I cant see a thing I'm doing. Im still stuck with the phone because they won't cover it.
