  • @BaneOfIslam10 For a Buddhist, you seem to have a lot of hate for Islam.

  • Bhuddism is not a religion, it is a way of life.

  • Is it just me, or is there a specific reason, for me to perceive his smile, way different than other people's smile? O_o

  • Ahh this is exactly the type of video I was looking for. After watching My Reincarnation, a documentary shot over the course of 20 years by Jennifer Fox, I'm looking into starting to chant and now I know what to do :) bitly .com/uIr2nk

  • With Love and Light...

  • The guy looks like he's thinking, "How'd you all get into my temple?"

  • Eh, I am not one for Religion. I feel too many issues are caused from it but that is my opinion. I like the chanting though.

  • that's a real smile! like if you agree :)

  • .... tibet is merely a word lama

  • lama, please abandon the word tibet, for lama

  • what he is doing is really nonsenses

  • @kadirddemir *nonsense

  • @kadirddemir troll detected- or an eighth grader who dont now how to spells goud

  • i wanna hug him, he looks so peaceful and satisfied

  • I love when he looks at the guy taping and just smiles :)

  • Murmurring child.

  • His chant sounds different from the retarded version europeans are using in the west.

    LOL

  • @Herc2770

Show me it, I want to hear lol

  • @Herc2770 its very sad what you write.. go to learning

  • @Herc2770 Of course it sounds different, different culture and religion. Before you leave a nasty comment about someone else's religion, and where a video is portraying peace, you should think. Btw, Have you not heard some of the most beautiful yet simple Catholic Gregorian chants, Allegri's Miserere Mei, Victoria's O Magnum Mysterium or even the Eastern Orthodox Chants from Russia and Greece! Chant is used in our churches as well. His chant is equally beautiful.

  • @MegaKrishan123 Your over reacting to very minor comment. And its impossible to determain ones intent whether humor or harm over the net. And its not the latter, only yours does.

So i suggest you get those spining things he has and start chanting.

    REMEMBER

Its, OM MANI PADMA HUM ;)

    ..................dont mention it

  • @Herc2770 I didnt mean to be so blunt/mean but you insulted the traditions of my religion, im very proud of the chanting in my own church/religion. Peace...

  • @MegaKrishan123 Learn to read and your pride will get you nowhere.

  • @MegaKrishan123

He didn't insult your tradition, he spoke about westerners taking the tibetan tradition and completely turning it into something else. Like making a "om mani padme hum" dance remix.

  • @Herc2770 Or Om Mani Peme Hung, as there are many different languges used.

  • @tracefleeman The Original please.

  • @MegaKrishan123

You didn't understand his Hec2770 at all.

He didn't say western people have awful chants, or anythin similar to that, nor he meant anything about western tradition.

He said that in the west people are singing this very same mantra, "om mani padme hum" and making versions that sound very different from this, which I think he dislikes.

Like spanish people singing in the worst english ever, for example, failing at pronunciation.

  • ?????What is there not to like?????????

  • That was one really heart warming smile.

  • no worries? it's not about india or china, it's about letting tibet be tibet in tibet. The chinese government need to keep there ass in china and leave tibet alone.

  • Just close your eyes and listen and take it in

  • Free Tibet!

  • Dear Friends, I found a link where you can download a really beautiful chant, more then 50 Minutes of Buddhist Monks chanting, for 0,99€. I tried it, its worth, Enjoy!

  • 人はものごとを、あるがままにではなく、こうあってほしいと思うようにみようとする。

    May all see.

  • @Akkodha 真......真.......非常に真

  • This gentleman is so far out of his element it's just uncomfortable to watch. It looks and feels like a press shoot.

  • you can tell he is very sincere and peaceful...if everyone just listen to this everyday there would be less violence :)

  • awe, that was a cute smile at the end. :)

  • May the compassionate, precious, venerable Drupon Thinley Nyingpo Rinpoche live for a thousand eons!

  • @nickname1331 too bad that you didn't realize you care so much or else you won't remember what you have been told and misled by western media and replied me, I am not from Mainland China and I also shared a distaste to their (my?!) dictator government, but just go there to have a look if you can and see for yourself the truth...

  • om shanti

  • Ma Ni luru lenpa dok!!!

  • he is full of peace =)

  • I've met Drupon (the monk in this video) on a few occasions during his travels to central FL, his presence is awe inspiring, he truly is a man of peace with nothing but love in his heart for all peoples. I've also had the honor of participating in a mandala dissolution ceremony that he conducted, it was one of the most moving experiences of my life.

  • @fuckmania07 your an idiot i hope jesus can save your soul

  • @paocui You just got trolled in your fucking anus.

  • @Just4Th3Lulz real nice you must also be a christian also, there seems to an underlying ignorance with u guys.

  • Buddhism is peaceful, thats why I left islam to be a Buddhist and learn meditation in the hills of Nepal, Himalayas. I love the chantings I could go on forever and ever.

  • @mrblurblur2003 how did you get there

  • @mrblurblur2003 you are so totaly right, budism is full of wisdom and peace. and it gives the world so mucht beauty.

  • @mrblurblur2003 lets go bomb american towers

  • @mrblurblur2003 Welcome! Your words suddenly filled me with joy. I used to be a Christian, but came to Buddhism as well. May you find adventure and peace in your journeys.

  • this video was beautiful. in regards to the bad comments made, we shouldn't reply with anger or hatred just accept varying opinions, for they make up the world. and practice for everyone in the world with the utmost compassion. after all, nothing is permanent.

  • No money, no tradition, no political siding, nobody can save your soul.... Only you can save your soul.

  • this is cool i love Buddhism

  • zhahaha cute

  • @fuckmania07 Yes, because when I think of Christianity, I think of names like fuckmania07.

  • I I want the knife...PLEASE LOL

  • I juts saw this monk in McLeodganj in a speech about cessation .. impressive

  • More Prayer WHEELS and less training wheels....

  • The Dalai Lama does not want independence but autonomy within China. This is a major point people tend to ignore. The world map at the United Nations in 1945 shows Tibet as China, four years before the People's Republic of China was created. I highly recommend that you search "Battle of China" in Youtube and watch that U.S. government-commissioned documentary from 1944. After 3 minutes, it shows how the US saw China's territory. The CIA helped Tibet only to fight communism and then dumped it.

  • it is emotional intent, feeling, not thought, that he is sending to be reflected and amplified by the universe which acts as a mirror of our intentions.

Namaste- examine the concept of the intention of this word to gain insight to the above statement.

Balance and harmony to all of you.......

  • lol that was great. i read the comments about the smile and YES, it DOES speak for itself. awesome ^_^

  • You Tibetans have put so much into the monk but very little into your own people. Keep worshipping monks and dead statues while living Tibetans starve. You give your riches to lazy monks while your people starve. The Dalai Lama has not earned a penny in his entire life. He only reads about generosity. Tibet was like Afghanistan and the Dalai Lama is like Mullah Omar. On subjects like homosexuality, corporeal punishment, slavery, and women's rights, the Taliban could learn a lot from Tibet.

  • Thanks for the laugh your ignorance gave me :)

  • @Lwaxy

    What have I ignored?

  • @buddhasknowbest , and what about you , did you did something good other whine and cry. so i knowthe best, go and shove your self up your mom pussy and try to come out of her ass hole, hopr this time you will understand about tibet more the what you read and told.

  • @buddhasknowbest you are very true about that, i have studied this type of buddha teachings for the past 5 years now, and i cannot agree more with this.

  • his smile is so infectious, he seems truly happy.

  • awesome can you see the satisfaction on his face?:D

  • @miricavlad

It's the same face I made when I chanted this :3

  • omg i have this on a cd is one of my favorites wow i love this please keep it up and make it longer i appreciate it bless you

  • relaxing and soothing, can place you into a trancelike state....om mani padma hum....i wonder what it means?

  • @annainloved well, there is no particular direct translation in english. the original meaning I came to know from Ram Dass is "the all is a precious jewel in the lotus flower which blooms in my heart" which may not really make a whole lot of sense to you but hey you can read about it more in depth at these pages:

[i don't have enough room left to post the other two so it'll be in a second reply]

  • @annainloved err apparently yt didn't like my links sooo the first one is at meditationiseasy dotcom and then just google om mani padme hum and then see the dharma-haven page and the religionfacts one

    :)

  • @fuckmania07 Wow Christians are such kind, understanding, open-minded people! *SARCASM*

  • @fuckmania07 Who's shed more blood through the centuries? Christians or Buddhists? You may have a rude awakening in the next life. Arrogant ignorant fool.

  • omm mani padme humm omm mani padme hum..

  • i feel sooo bad, i accidently pressed the vuvuzela button. and well you know what happened

  • love always Aprilji

  • I am a Christian but I think we can learn something from other religions... Father Thomas Merton OCR is a good example.

  • @AureusVenerabilis You can be Christian and follow Buddhist Philosophy it'snot a religion because Buddhist does not talk about a god this is a ancient science of the mind and spirit.

  • @NIGGABUDDHA You are absolutely right!! :)

  • ah yes, it can be really easy to meditate on a mantra while they flashing in your eyes .... -.-

  • Wishes. Good sath sangh. Good budda sangh.

  • what is the actual pronounciation in english ?

    Om Mani Peme hung ?

or Om Mani Padme hum ?

    pls reply. thx

  • @maheshgt HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA questions like these are really disarming! Sooo endlessly innocent! hahahah! this is remarkable!

  • @maheshgt I believe "peme hung" is Tibetan while "padme hum" is Sanskrit. Either one is just as effective.

  • @maheshgt "All money come my home", this is a joke among Chinese young people.

  • @geobnu the chinese are known for worshipping money..... pity for them....

  • @fabianfred537 Hey, Im Chinese and I dont worship money....Does anyone even remember Confuciousism or whatever it is spelled? Pity many people believe the media so easily..

  • @maheshgt I am not sure that 'lympheneas' was giving reply to your question if so he was innocent, not insane tho he laughed like one. My advice is peme hung or padme hum or pack me home...it is the language background as some people say Bunk instead of Bank but that does not make the Bank less money. The force and result of your chanting will still be the same be it peme hung or padme hum....my own version sometimes sounds like ' old mary beg me home'. i am ok with it.

  • Tibet must achieve it s freedom using international rights with the support of the majoritie of the world community otherwise is going to be a shame for mankind...

  • Yes, very nice. It's just glorious (however) when done by many at once. The energy seems to be increased exponentially by the number of voices lifted up.

  • Vibrações Positivas !

    watch?v=8SyfG0IOKNo

  • awesome, I sat with this guy a few times in Frederick MD, how cool.

  • It is a shame how the chinese government chooses to abolish tibet and all it stands for

  • @nickname1331

no worries, india the source of buddhism will shelter buddhism

dalai lama and his followers live in india

so tibetan culture and people need not worry

  • @sharathvasudev Thank you for the compassion and support and shelter India has extended to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans.

  • @sharathvasudev Your words are naive. Tibet needs to be freed from China. There are killings of monks , rapings and killings of nuns in Tibet. The Sacred Energy is leaving Tibet and twisting upwards and onwards to settle in S. America. Countless Political Prisoners. Tibet is in a state of carnage and you say India is protecting those of Tibet. Get the real picture-join amnesty and fight with the pen to free many. Peacefully demonstrate against Chinese rule and stop talking nonsense.

  • @nickname1331 too bad you didn't know that Chinese government just abolished the slavery system of Tibetan monks but still preserve Tibet and most if not all it stands for, I have never been to Tibet myself but seems you care a lot you really should go and have a look and see for yourself...

  • @ramielfong too bad you didn't know that I don't care what you think China is doing there... they are burning sacred texts and taking over an incredibly sacred culture and replacing it with their (your) Dictator's version

  • @nickname1331 Om Mani Pedme Hum

  • 正本首楞嚴經

  • Great my fave' mantra/chant. This is very beautiful. Found this gem on a 'I Hope Ne Friend.' :-) These are so healing to the soul in such great turmoil that we are facing. Peace and Love to you all. <3 U

  • If you have broadband check out the excellent video

A Song for Tibet (56:41 minutes)

    nfb. ca/film/a_song_for_tibet (remove space)

Filmed in the Indian Himalayas and in Canada, it tells the dramatic story of the efforts by Tibetans in exile, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, to save their homeland and preserve their heritage against overwhelming odds.

  • lol... So much for the teaching of buddha. " Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. " They follow more traditions than anyone else dose! lol

  • hes spanging!

  • Hell is a vile, abusive, disgusting concept. God buys love & loyalty with torture? A Gandhi, Teresa, Mandela would never think of torturing their enemies, whereas a Saddam, Hitler, Stalin would. This is the company that God keeps? Karma & Rebirth is the better, the non-violent way. You are not punished, nor are you simply forgiven because you begged enough. The most important aspect of Karma is that you are held accountable for your actions, you are reborn, given another chance to make amends.

  • Saying Sanscrit sounds and words makes the mind peaceful. Other languages may arouse anger (German?).

  • beautiful smile!

  • beautiful thank you

  • Adoro este mantra, nele é trabalhado o segundo chakra, trazendo equilíbrio.

I love this mantra, with this sound the second chakra is developed, bringing balance.

  • Hey Drupon! I was very surprised to find this video of you here on youtube! Thanks for the nice chanting video Rinpoche.

    -Conchuk Thinley Norbu

  • it so happens that the planets also create electromagnetic signals when converted to sounds like humming Tibetan Buddhist Monks as well as Budhhist Monks All around Asia - check out the sound signatures of JUPITER, SUN, EARTH postings here in YouTube - very INTERESTING PHENOMENON..."is there a connection?", are human beings a tiny microcosm conciousness of OUR VAST GRAND UNIVERSE?....[just my speculation!]

  • excellent.. lovely

  • The wheel contains a sutra. Worship is accomplished by rotating the sutras.

  • am surprised how clear and dense his voice is even the lips was hardly seen moving or anything...is he a ripoche? I know some well cultivated ones can soothe the minds with their clam/deep/almost trance voice(=power vibration) thou.

  • Rotating this wooden cylinder must be really fun!

  • @Max0Inq

depends on how well the bearings are!

  • It's a prayer wheel sending his prayer out into the universe, on top is a crystal.

  • I hope for all of us,the universe hears and responds....

  • Sorry I dont mean to offend anyone ... I´m New to This ... and I dont know what is that thing the monk spins with a candle on top of it ... if any one can help .. thanks in advance .

  • Written on the wheel are the six symbols for "Om Ma-ni Pad-me Hung", the syllables of the prayer. Each time the wheel spins before our (or anyone's) eyes, it's transmitting the blessing.

  • thank you for the help ... I really apreciate the information =)

  • Time is the great teacher. There is only one truth. The reality is that truth is only found within and all of the philosophies that are in accordance with THE WAY are only like a finger pointing at the moon. Wisdom can only be attained by those who are ready to recieve it.

May all beings overcome illusion and harmonize with the great Dao

  • Drupon Thinley is an awesome teacher.

    Om mani peme hung.

  • Hail to the jewel in the lotus!

  • his smile at the end of the video speaks for itself...

  • Hm. How so?

  • his smile speaks volumes!

  • Ths is a state of self peace, pretty cool
