I am not sure how they decide if you are bpd. I had made a very serious suicide attempt. I was committed and the shrink diagnosed me as bipolar II then the next day he said you are bpd. I had been observed 24/7 every 15 mins by staff since my arrival. so I guess a combo of feedback from staff and our interviews which were no more than 15-20 mins

How do they assess you for BPD? Did you fill out a bunch of questionnaires or did someone ask you a bunch of questions?
