@MyAccount4TrollingU no, Fucking mechanic, its their fault, I have replaced wheels on the Dash-8 before, its easy to mess up if you don't know what you are doing. But as for the brake snapping off, yeah still the mechanics issue. DHC-8s are reliable airplanes; this was a mechanic not doing their job. Continental airlines....so it was an A&P tech...An American fixed this...... Look on the NTSBs website on the incident, it will tell you more.....Eh buddy.

Excellent video !!!! The Dash 8 is now known to have problems in the conception of its main gear... I don't know if it's truely a conception problem or a lack of formation of the maintenance of the aircraft... but now, it's seen by the public like a craft with main landing gear problems...

The Q400 has not had any problems with any other operators, this is an SAS maintenance issue. They were found negligent because all 3 landing gear failures were SAS aircraft. Air Canada is believed to be ready to purchase most of SAS' decommissioned Q400 fleet for themselves.
