It would be beutiful to have a truely Apostolic / truely Holy Spirit led / day of Pentecost Church led by humble , non profit seeking , sober minded Holy Spirit filled and guided men who are able to perform true miracles in the name of Jesus !

I think that is what we should pray for

Speaking about a man of God is not wise. I pray all you wounds are healed and you can move on . Oh and if taking the word of God and applying it to winning the whole world is occult then I have been healed in a Pentecostal church saved Filled with the Holy Ghost and I strive to be the best Christian I can be. I became Pentecostal at age 22. For many years through relocation and circumstances, I was unable to get back into Pentecostal worship, and had to 'make do', with what would be considered reneweal or charismatic churches. There is no comparison, but 40 years on, I have found another Pentecostal church full of the Holy Ghost, full of everything which would be regarded as extreme, and I have been been happier in my life. God wants us to worship Him insanely, and who should dare to say otherwise.

I testify that the Holy Ghost is real. That miracles do happen. I believe that what we are seeing in this video is the manifestation of the latter day rain of God's spirit that was predicted in the book of Joel. That fact does not remove the pain that some people have felt when some spiritual leaders and saints abuse power and allow their personal agendas to interfere with the true work that God wants do in this World. I will pray for God to heal the broken hearts and to purify his church.

It is sad that some have been hurt in Pentecostal Churches. Whenever men or woman exult their religion above their worship of God people can be hurt regardless of denomination. Read the book of Galatians. It has really explained a lot to me lately. It started with Israel and has continued with every religious group on earth. Satan infiltrates and sends devision. People can begin to worship their form of worship more than God this will cause all the works of the flesh.

I personally know people who were at this specific meeting. It is real, it is powerful, it is God's spirit and power blind eyes were opened, many were healed and in at least one of these meetings a man who was dead for more than a day came back to life. Sis. Nona Freeman and her husband began evangelism work in Ethiopia years ago, much of the revivals happening in Ethiopia can be attributed to her sacrifice. Google her name. Very powerful woman of God.

History is full of examples of terribly injured or sick people recovering. It's not a miracle. The body fights to stay alive. The body heals itself, fights disease, etc.

Why be down on religion? It is people's choice, they are not "brain washed" it is what they believe, just like you believe, that God does not exist. I actually was an Atheist once. Or does it simply make me knowledgeable about something which you do not have the capacity to understand because it is outside of your experience? I am far from stupid. I have a Master's degree in science and a background in Math. I experience God through my senses. I FEEL HIM.Just because you cannot detect Him, does not make my experience false.

I have had the experience of praying in church in tongues and had someone approach me and tell me that God blessed them because I was speaking in their original language. This has happened twice to me. It is quite convincing to me that God actually does speak through people in a language that they did not learn to people who speak another language. Peace.

@TheJimmycrack9 : In my own personal opinion, based only on the particular churches that I have visited, I have seen some of what I would call "fake fire" in some Assembly of God churches. In other words, things just did not feel right. Usually there is a prosperity message preached, and the people aren't really committed to God in their personal lives but just seem to come together for a show. There is some of this that is fake, but in my opinion and experience, not all. ; )

@TheJimmycrack9 : Actually, to be honest, I have not been to a service in an Assembly of God church that did feel right. They always just sort of felt creepy. For example, there would be a tongues given that I could interpret and I knew what God was wanting to say and then the preacher or someone would say something else. Usually having to do with some prophecy that did not come true. And I'm going- Uh, no that wasn't it..... Oh well. If your background is A of G I understand your doubt.

Seeing one foreign film in another language is all it would take to put many words into your brain's memory.

I attended the Assembly of God for many years with my family, as well. Tongue talking faith healing bullshitty nonsense is what I call it now.

I have seen it all, studied it all, felt it all.

I get it. It feels good.

But that doesn't make it true, or any more helpful or necessary than suggesting heroin making you feel good makes it a great life choice.

I had not even read about the experience in the Bible yet. I just knew that God had touched me in a very profound way. It was later that I searched for a church and read about it in the Bible and said, cool, it's in there. : )

As it stands now, the preacher certainly made thousands, or tens of thousands of dollars for his performance that evening.
