Stop hidding drug addicts, make drugs LEGAL. Most Columbians do not do any drugs, they know better since they learn from an early age. The dangers, they make the choice then. NOT from the red button.
They go into schools, they tell the children the bad things about drugs, never how it makes you feel good. They tell you the bad, terrible things it does to you, and tell you how to avoid and say no to peer pressure. Then they often bring in people like me. I was, at the time, a high school student who got straight As and didn't do drugs (still don't), and we tell them how we avoided them. How we did activities and joined clubs.
The problem I've found with drug education in school is the lying. Kids are smart and curious. If you tell them that pot will make them go crazy and jump out a window, their BS alarms start to go off. Later if they actually do try marijuana and they don't go crazy, they'll throw out all the good information you gave them because you've lost their trust.
I have two young kids, and I'm going to be honest with them about what drugs do. Finding positive activities is also a great idea!
100% true. If you tell a teenager not to do something he/she will probably do it anyway. What ever the case is. Now, Especially drugs. If you telling a teenager the great effects you have when taking drugs then tell the, not to do it? What do you expect to happen. This is coming from a 14 year old.

im 18 in the uk and can say this is 100% true here. All they did was make everyone in my class confident enough to know whats going to happen. I already know around 4 people who have died and several who are in bad shape. This is from the UK. The amount of people who do drugs seems to be getting bigger and bigger here. It seems more normal to do it than to not do it now. the effect it has on these peoples lives is just crazy
i know athletes that have been to states and i know kids getting 4.0s that do drugs so dont act like kids with schoolwork or sports are too busy for drugs, it doesnt work like that

@Starpass naw its like any other drug. it has ups and downs depending on how you use it. to me, its the people who are a problem. not the drug. one of my best friends recently started for whatever reason and he just turned into a total dick. like everyone else ik who started. besides, if its harmless and nobody has a case against it then you don't havta go on all these rants. I remember becoming really interested in trying out some types of drugs after drug ed, and I wasn't the only one. In fact... the whole class was. Then again, I'm dutch.
@MineCookiez Back in the 90's, DARE gave us full color high quality catalogs of drugs. They depicted all sorts of drug paraphernalia, and mounds of narcotics. It was like a National Geographic picture book. I think I was 9 or 10. I had never heard of narcotics until they taught me about them. Now I love drugs of all sorts, they fascinate me as they did then.

Ancestors of long ago didn't have Big Pharma or Pharming and got by considerably well. Sure, there were health problems, but ancestors still did reasonably well using NATURE and good practitioners. But using pharmaceuticals is sometimes a much better choice for quicker healing, today ; sometimes.
But I'm against the manufacture of unnatural drugs being used for R&R, fun, whatever. A little pot and real coke, not crack, are fine, for they're not truly addictive and aren't truly harmful, though pot should really be injested and not smoked, ideally ; for more than one reason. First of all, any smoke in the lungs is probably not recommendable, regardless of the substance that's burning; or, so I'ld guess anyway. Secondly, marij. contains tar.
Nature's "drugs" are fine. There's absolutely nothing wrong or evil, wicked, bad, et cetera, about them.
The problem when consuming or using these Natural drugs is when people misuse. It's misuse that's the problem and that means the problem is people being clumsy, say ; not Nature being wrong.

Drug ed is needed, but I totally agree with how it's been taught! Describing the effects does help to put the drug in a positive light! I feel that should be left out. If you're only taught and shown the bad effects would seem to be more logical and a better deterrent.
When I was in public junior high school in Florida, in the 70's, the drug education was exactly like this. They showed us how to make pipes from toilet paper tubes, they imported some "former" teenage drug users, to tell us not to use drugs, but of course, we totally glorified them. They showed us everything about pot and coke and made it all seem familiar and alluring. Public school is total indoctrination for the NWO agenda.
I have mixed feelings about it. Really I think that they should give limited info and do more on showing people who have had long term drug addiction. Just look at "Faces of Meth" that would make anyone want to never do drugs.
So naive. Drug use is not on the rise because of how it's taught, but because of this stupid drug on war. If they would to legalize marijuana, and treat drug users of hard drugs as patients instead of criminals, the drug rate would go down. We can see this example works because it's currently the system they have in Switzerland and Portugal. The Swiss and Portuguese governerment provides free heroin at clinics and it puts the dealers out of bussiness. Who wants to go to a clinic to get high?....
While doing hard drugs for over 30 years I have raised two wonderful sons whose only drug is weed. I smoked weed in front of them since they were about two years of age. I didn't tell them 'Don't do Cocaine or Crack' I said 'Don't smoke crack because you will like it and you will end up spending all of your money on it, chasing the dragon. Dad, can I smoke cigs? Yes; but you will become hooked almost immediately and they will wreck your health and make you feel like shit.
@areYouSerious41 When the wife left I had a break down where my mind was lifted to a higher consciousness. This lasted 8 months until I confessed to a Doctor I talk with God. After 57 days hospitalization I was diagnosed as having severe Bipolar Disorder. Knowing this had me understand why I had lived the way I did. I was saved by Christ when I was 17.
The love I felt when I said Yes to believing Christ died for my sins put me to my knees.

@areYouSerious41 I haven't touched hard drugs for 12 years. I raised my 2 boys myself when their mother abandoned the family. I've raised them myself since they were 9 and 11. My older boy, now 24 is #2 Chef in Edmonton's high end restaurant called 'Normand's'. They specialize in wild meat dishes. The place is always filled. To eat there with your girl would cost $170.00; not counting coffee or alcohol. My youngest works there too learning to cook.

I never felt like I belonged, even among my own family. I am almost 60. Almost all of my friends are dead. They too had problems that they didn't know about. All of us, black sheep. You know, I enjoy extra curriculars now and then, and I have teenagers. My son is as straight laced as it gets, besides the fact that he's gay, and my daughter likes to party too. Its true that! it was only when I went to university that I found out how great drugs are. I didn't know before because I was an Innocent straight laced girl. Then one day I was in a tutorial about drug abuse and why its become a problem. We discussed ways to deal with it like legalization. After the lecture our tutor took us to his house and we must have taken every drug known to man. It seemed strange but that’s how I got hooked on drugs, you fall into the wrong crowd and keep falling.

You can't keep kids totally in the dark about drugs. They have to know how they destroy lives. How about this: instead of showing the kids drugs and related paraphernalia and saying "bad", simply take the kids on a field trip of skid row and jails to see the tweakers and lives destroyed by drugs. Another point is that modern medicine has become so drug-happy that it is more like the joke that Psychiatry has been for so long. Drug education is the government training program for our children. Studies show more young people experiment with drugs after "Drug Education" than would without the "education".

Honestly what school teaches drug ed this way? I mean I realize I graduated back in 2004 and that Maybe things have changed... But yeah it was never taught that way to me. She also gave me honest info about real drugs. As a result, I never tried hard drugs. I think lumping weed in with "drugs", or referring to it as a gateway drug only discredits all the other (possibly accurate?) information about truly dangerous drugs. the where passing out these pamplets to kids at my brothers school, it was information on pot, on the cover of the pamplet against pot, this so called pothead on the front of it looked like a chystal meth tweaker. prevention is a myth, and on top of that ide rather my brother drink and try pot opposed to other things. i found that i liked lsd, pot, beer, and extasy, shrooms, and fully expect that my brother trys these things. meth prevention should be the name of the game.
in the states they where doing random drug tests on high school students and what happened is the kids started doing the harder drugs cause they leave your body within 24 hours while thc stays there for like 3 weeks, the whole thing is a joke.

They go into schools, they tell the children the bad things about drugs, never how it makes you feel good. They tell you the bad, terrible things it does to you, and tell you how to avoid and say no to peer pressure. Then they often bring in people like me. I was, at the time, a high school student who got straight As and didn't do drugs (still don't), and we tell them how we avoided them. How we did activities and joined clubs.

The problem I've found with drug education in school is the lying. Kids are smart and curious. If you tell them that pot will make them go crazy and jump out a window, their BS alarms start to go off. Later if they actually do try marijuana and they don't go crazy, they'll throw out all the good information you gave them because you've lost their trust.
I have two young kids, and I'm going to be honest with them about what drugs do. Finding positive activities is also a great idea!

im 18 in the uk and can say this is 100% true here. All they did was make everyone in my class confident enough to know whats going to happen. I already know around 4 people who have died and several who are in bad shape. This is from the UK. The amount of people who do drugs seems to be getting bigger and bigger here. It seems more normal to do it than to not do it now. the effect it has on these peoples lives is just crazy

@MineCookiez Back in the 90's, DARE gave us full color high quality catalogs of drugs. They depicted all sorts of drug paraphernalia, and mounds of narcotics. It was like a National Geographic picture book. I think I was 9 or 10. I had never heard of narcotics until they taught me about them. Now I love drugs of all sorts, they fascinate me as they did then.

Ancestors of long ago didn't have Big Pharma or Pharming and got by considerably well. Sure, there were health problems, but ancestors still did reasonably well using NATURE and good practitioners. But using pharmaceuticals is sometimes a much better choice for quicker healing, today ; sometimes.

A little pot and real coke, not crack, are fine, for they're not truly addictive and aren't truly harmful, though pot should really be injested and not smoked, ideally ; for more than one reason. First of all, any smoke in the lungs is probably not recommendable, regardless of the substance that's burning; or, so I'ld guess anyway. Secondly, marij. contains tar.
Quality weed, though, requires only FEW puffs.

Drug ed is needed, but I totally agree with how it's been taught! Describing the effects does help to put the drug in a positive light! I feel that should be left out. If you're only taught and shown the bad effects would seem to be more logical and a better deterrent.

When I was in public junior high school in Florida, in the 70's, the drug education was exactly like this. They showed us how to make pipes from toilet paper tubes, they imported some "former" teenage drug users, to tell us not to use drugs, but of course, we totally glorified them. While doing hard drugs for over 30 years I have raised two wonderful sons whose only drug is weed. I smoked weed in front of them since they were about two years of age. I didn't tell them 'Don't do Cocaine or Crack' I said 'Don't smoke crack because you will like it and you will end up spending all of your money on it, chasing the dragon. Dad, can I smoke cigs? Yes; but you will become hooked almost immediately and they will wreck your health and make you feel like shit.

After 57 days hospitalization I was diagnosed as having severe Bipolar Disorder. Knowing this had me understand why I had lived the way I did. I was saved by Christ when I was 17.
The love I felt when I said Yes to believing Christ died for my sins put me to my knees.

My older boy, now 24 is #2 Chef in Edmonton's high end restaurant called 'Normand's'. They specialize in wild meat dishes. The place is always filled. To eat there with your girl would cost $170.00; not counting coffee or alcohol. My youngest works there too learning to cook.

Its true that! it was only when I went to university that I found out how great drugs are. I didn't know before because I was an Innocent straight laced girl. Then one day I was in a tutorial about drug abuse and why its become a problem. We discussed ways to deal with it like legalization. After the lecture our tutor took us to his house and we must have taken every drug known to man. It seemed strange but that’s how I got hooked on drugs, you fall into the wrong crowd and keep falling.

Cops brought in the huge display of dif drugs and methods for using as a display in the gym and we all walked around and were "educated" about them. You can't keep kids totally in the dark about drugs. They have to know how they destroy lives. How about this: instead of showing the kids drugs and related paraphernalia and saying "bad", simply take the kids on a field trip of skid row and jails to see the tweakers and lives destroyed by drugs. Another point is that modern medicine has become so drug-happy that it is more like the joke that Psychiatry has been for so long. As with using drugs as the primary means to dealing with dis-ease the focus goes upon more careful use and knowledge of what drug to use for what, versus choosing any sort of functional alternative to doing drugs for fun, like having orgies and such.

Thanks great vid When I was a child I would get bored and irritate the shit outta my mom so she would threaten me with a ass whoopin with a belt, so I would go outside and play but never had a desire to think about or do drugs,good thing I never knew about em or things may have been different

Drug education is the government training program for our children. Studies show more young people experiment with drugs after "Drug Education" than would without the "education".

the best education for kids would be a demonstration of the results. bring them addicted homeless type of people who have been using heavy drugs for years for kids to see what results out of it. they WILL get it. at the end, the addict person could get some extra money for participation.

Agreed. The best thing one can do is keeping children away from that shit including school system as well. I encourage you not to send your child in school. You will at least give him a good foundations, but in school, they could break his individuality and selfesteem and he would eventually get indoctrinated into that new sheepizen model.

Honestly what school teaches drug ed this way? I mean I realize I graduated back in 2004 and that Maybe things have changed... But yeah it was never taught that way to me. Now I could be wrong, maybe its different somewhere else, or now, but could you site me one of these programs that does this. Honestly its confusing enough because your track record is rather flamboyant in that you spread paranoia over almost everything. But I am hoping there is some glimmer of potential with this warning.

Back in the 70's my humanities teacher was one of Melbourne's biggest dope dealers, needless to say drug education back then was a very hands on approach with very illuminating and insightful conclusion to the lesson.

@upshot13 I have seen it. Someone recently posted it on my FB group. It confirms everything I suspected: that, by design, they introduced these campaigns using sly techniques to get the community on board, knowing that wherever they introduce these 'prevention' programs, rates of teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and even suicide end up rising.

BRILLIANT. "JOE ROGAN" on You Tube is the star from the TV show "Fear Factor " and Joe does funny video's does about drugs,war and other topics..He thinks that telling kids that weed is a gateway drug is a lie.When the kids test weed and find out it's just weed they get curious and then often try harder drugs.

@RETIREMESOON Exactly. My mom told me the truth about marijuana, that it wasn't really physically addictive and probably wouldn't cause more harm than a little lung irritation. She also gave me honest info about real drugs. As a result, I never tried hard drugs. I think lumping weed in with "drugs", or referring to it as a gateway drug only discredits all the other (possibly accurate?) information about truly dangerous drugs. It also perpetuates ignorance toward medical users.

People, I am so tired of this fucking government and police, I dont think I can make it. I just saw the beating of the homeless guy, and I dont understand why people arent trying to stand up. When you have ten people, subdue the cops. they have no right to murder someone, for being drunk. its insane. I love people, and I just dont understand why we arent getting together more against this. i'm just frustrated, and it hasnt even started yet.

Not only that, but guest speakers (former addicts) also talk about how bad ass they were when they were on drugs. They talk about how many friends they made, how they got all the girls, and how they were the life of the party. I remember it vividly. Then they say, but then I crashed and now I'm nothing, so don't do them. LOL....wow

the where passing out these pamplets to kids at my brothers school, it was information on pot, on the cover of the pamplet against pot, this so called pothead on the front of it looked like a chystal meth tweaker. prevention is a myth, and on top of that ide rather my brother drink and try pot opposed to other things. i found that i liked lsd, pot, beer, and extasy, shrooms, and fully expect that my brother trys these things. meth prevention should be the name of the game.

in the states they where doing random drug tests on high school students and what happened is the kids started doing the harder drugs cause they leave your body within 24 hours while thc stays there for like 3 weeks, the whole thing is a joke.
