  • ***How to resolve*** go to your BIOS Setting > drive configuration and change it from IDE To AHCI thumps up if this work

  • I , this problem is a incorrect api driver , reininstal the osx and choose the correct driver

  • you wil not losse anything. you can do it on bios menu its sata:ahci. IDE IS FOR 32BIT AND ACHI IS FOR 64B i thing

  • you have to install SATA IDE driver for your processor next time you install...

  • @blahturion64 reinstall the OS. the same problem happened to someone i know. reinstalling the OS worked.

  • mmm have you tryed updating your mac.

    if you install the latsest software on a non updated mac it CAN corrupt your file system

  • try to unplug the mouse and the keyboard when gets the boot screen until it gets into the desktop and then plug it again (if it usb or ps/2) i tried that and its now boots more faster

  • It's not a Kernel panic it is to do with OS X not finding your HD.

  • I think its Kernel Panic. Try some other kernels ... don't use Vanilla kernels.

  • Hey my dad owns Epox now, lol. i am going to try this on an EP-4plmi, 2.4gh/z, 1gb ram, 128mb Graphics card & a 22" LG MW22 flatron. If it works, i'll let you know how i did it!
