@RoseMarieBruhh yeah u actually can go home every weekend in that case.my roommate lived in the city we were in but she lived on campus n went home 3 outta 4 weekends a month.

how long did it take for them to decide if u can go? ive applied about a month and they still say im under review. second when they do accept u , how long before u go once your approved? last you are gorgeous!

so i applied in september. I went to an interview they gave me papers to fill out and an essay to answer. I didn't get an "ok your going next week!" until Feburary. so about 5 months for me. And that was only because i had a baby already. I guess women/men with kids get approved first.

@11Hollybear LUCKY! i wish i could have brought my son with me. But bring anything u use in a day, ina week, and even in a month, for u and ur daughter. Being lots of clothes, bathroom stuff, books if u read them, stuff like that. even an ipod if u have one :]

i graduated back in 03 from ljcc up in maine carpentry all the way i am now a finish carpenter and i make 70 k a year im telling you do your shit when your there and dont screw off and you will reap the benefits later in life

@jazzzy0590 We actually dont have a thanksgiving break. You can take personal days but you only get like 5 to start. Once you use them they are gone sadly :[[ but you get one every 30 days after you use one. I think. I'm not sure. But yeah we only have summer break (july 3rd thru 18th) and winter break (Dec 17-Jan 4th)

@Enigma763 Are you talking about the GED tests or the tests they make u take when u first enter the program? if its the one for when you first enter, those have no significance to you graduating. :] some people are here for 2 years and dont pass but the sucky thing is they have u keep doing the class till u pass. but ifu dont its okay.
