  • Thank you for that Simon,

finally a glaze that I can mix up and use my self.

    thanks

  • Hello there Simon,

could I use that ash glaze on an already bisque fired pot? If so is it a cone ten glaze?

    Thank you

    Liam.

  • Hi - Usually this for a raw glaze application ,but I think it would work perfectly OK over a bisqued pot as well.

Yes it is a cone 10 / reduction glaze. SL

  • That's nice. It's good to see pieces with texture rather than solid plain bodies.

  • Looking good, thanks for sharing - I think it might look nice black fired, even pit or saggar fired

The lines almost have an african feel - I agree with the idea of people letting go and being free in their decoration, trying new things

  • Your work is very pleasing to the eye. Instead of all those scratch marks, I prefer to see sun flowers the length of the vase. Nice an bold.
