Your doctor could really help with your transition provided you are honest with them and telling yhem exactly what you want...mind you they'll probably will not administer any medication unless it is within the guidlines of your local health service provider....in other words they are interested in not getting their license withdrawn and getting into trouble with the law while giving you the help that you need
when you tell your doctor that you self medicating be prepared for a bollocking i got one just for thinking about self medicating and when you get round to seeing a gender therapist they may tell you to stop taking the hormones
@elleryxo If you make it clear to them that you're going to carry on doing it your way, they will probably see you as somewhat unstable and the whole transitioning process will take even longer. They want to see a calm, thoughtful person who understands the risks involved. They certainly wont take kindly to demands for hormones. It seems like a bit of a game sometimes, they say "jump" and you say "how high", but if you want something badly then you just have to do it. Just be patient, please.
