In 1992 or so, Discovery Channel shows new way that use 3 color lasers (red, green and blue) to produce full color hologram, and I never hear of that again?
@mckseal Real 3d tvs have been around for about a decade, just not available to public usage. You don';t need 3d glasses because it has an immensely powerful processor in the tv.
It's not a new thing...and to all those people who are gullabull enough to buy a fake-3d tv tht needs glasses are only going to uprgrade to the real 3d tv in a couple of years....complete waste of money

they're starting to do tvs like this now, saw em in thailand. 3d no glasses.

i saw em in thailand in 2002.
so thats why we have been telling everyone DONT BUY A 3d TV!
the glasses suck anyway, disorientating.
