Still can't work out how he moves his vocal chords at the speed he does. Great. Has anyone got a copy of "One Night Of Love" by L.D. It was recorded at his 25th Jubilee Concert, 1981. Even a non L.D. fan would like it. I think it was written by Willie, but under a different title. It's not available in Australia, but is in the States. It would be a challenge for "The Frog."
Love how he marches onto the stage, guess that was down to his National Service with the Army. I would've loved to have seen him perform in real life, alas that'll never be. So long Lonnie, you were a great Skiffle legend.
Wonderful job - well done - I was brought up with Lonnie's music - very singable - They should make a film about his life and music, he influenced many bands and singers and most of all he brought fun to music.
Aside from the Putting On The Donegan VHS tape I am not sure any original productions still exists. If they are, I would also love to see them. The clips we have presented were taken from old 16mm film, but most of the shows were on 2' video tape. We do have some more that we will post on YouTube.
There's hours and hours of footage from Lonnie donegan Tv show's out there - even when his show went into colour for a series in the late 60s... why is no one can get their hands on it and have it all released, so many people like me who are younger would enjoy it!
Many thanks! That's really great!

Unbelieveable! - I grew up with this record in the late 50's - never thought I would ever hear it again.
Sincere thanks to Poster - epecially in transferring it from the original 16mm.

A huge influence on British music, but he couldn't resist tampering with old tunes,
Aside from that we owe him thanks for introducing us to Ameican folk music!
