In my opinion, this is a better animated adaptation of the Camelot legend than the american adaptation "King Arthur and the Knights of Justice", I still like the american adaptation though.

The big reason Americans often attempt and fail at anime is that you have someone who takes a cursory look at anime (or even an in-depth look) and then tries to make a copy.

To explain the inverse. It would be like going to a Japanese cook. Showing him a picture of a cake and telling him what it was. Then asking him to replicate it without the recipe, or being told what the original ingredients were.

In that respect you get an imitation of a cake, but one that isn't a perfect replica.

I'm not here to disrespect anyone, but if you think that Dragonball Z was the father of most modern anime, then I need to teach you of anime history. The only thing that DBZ was the father of, was prolonging episodes and the grunting of overly muscular characters. The true fathers of the modern anime were original shows such as Space Battleship Yamato, Astro Boy (in America), and Super Dimensional Fortress Macross.

I agree with Ocho DBZ is totally not crap. Whoever says this must hate all current animes with any kind of action in them. Most mangaka's admit that Toriyama inspired them to do animation. Hell the most popular anime right now One Piece, is heavily influenced by DBZ. Learn some anime history people please.

Also this King Arthur and King Arthur and the Knights of Justice have nothing to do with each other whats so ever. So why is it even coming up?

I've seen them 'n I like boths, this 1's da first anime I've watched I was like 2/3 yo so I luv this 1, but there di animation's better, special fxs magic weapons and mithic beasts, this 1 has n interesting story it's realistic, hungry and desperation in people 'n a sad begining so both are different, none of them is better than the other they have diferent plot 'n were made 4 diferent audiences.

The italian opening for this cartoon is in my opinion one of the 50 greatest songs ever written, and easily the best cartoon opening ever. You should check it out.
