@Mavedalicious The disks are the material that becomes the contact lens. That's what they look like before they're formed and then hydrated. The "shaving" you saw in the beginning of the process was the disk being shaped into the contact lens by the diamond tip.

The ones that come in the boxes are the ones that last from 1 day, to 2 weeks or up to a month and then you toss them out. Daily disposable lenses are better for the health of the eye. 2. They tell you which kind of solution are good (Most important key)
