@wan0029 ...I paid $62.00 here in Hawaii. I think you can get it cheaper at Botach and other places for like $39.00 but save your money or buy something better like a Kershaw Outcast...just my humble opinion.
@justyoustupid ...honestly I haven't touch this blade since i did the video...so no extensive use or testing. This video was based on just my impression. In the related videos on the right "noss4" does some destruction test on the knife.
I realize I paid too much for the knife you guys can get it cheaper on the mainland. Even if I ordered it fro a website it'll probably cost the same with shipping.
@justyoustupid ...in a forest survival or jungle "my life depends on it" knife I feel it will ultimately break. That's why I'd have more than one edged weapon...ESEE (Rat Cutlery) lite machete, maybe a RAT 6 & 3 , Busse, etc... And I'd have a Strider and Emerson for sure.
This knife looks wicked, but I definitely wouldn't take it out and beat on it. Soft targets only for this bad boy.
If I wanted a knife for hard use, I'd go with something like a RAT 6. Or better yet, a Scrapyard Regulator. I ordered one a while ago, and I've been drooling over it ever since. I can't wait till it gets here. :D
While it looks freakishly wicked, and I'm sure the primary edge is pure evil, as a survival knife I wouldn't bring it. I'd rather have a wide, flat spine that I can pound on with a sledge or rock to chop wood or break through bone.
I MEAN IT LOOK GREAT BUT your gonna need to do some Sharping to it which is not that bad. you can be it a badass knife though but idk is it worthe the buy i could just check ebay and amazon and get it used but idk if its worth it or just get a different knife
IF you paid 62 dollars for the knife that sucks bro, you can get it for around thirty bucks on various other sites then directly from SOG itself, but either way its a alright knife!
It's okay not like I'll be carrying this knife around but, not my first choice.
I prefer D2, 154CM, S30V...I don't do bushcraft or go camping but, I keep my Kershaw Outcast and Gerber Gator machete in my car. And my Rajah I in my Maxpedition Monsoon...
Ha!Ha! You remember that huh? I gotta say this knife has impressed me thus far. The sawing ability was better than expected and it chops through small saplings with relative ease. So far so good. The " wicked factor " can't be denied. Straight up zombie KILLER!!!!!!
How Much ??
