  • The Islamic terrorists attacked the United States called the terrorist attacks, Islamic terrorists attacked the Chinese called pacifism. Why? Americans are not already forgotten 911? ?

  • I don't understand the general anti-Uighur sentiments in these comments. Having myself lived in Xinjiang, I can say that uyghurwatchman is much closer to the truth than say, axiomiser, who expects to see "proof of allegations" via his Youtube account. Why don't you go to Xinjiang, try to ask about how the Uighurs are being treated at the local police station, and see if the way they try to get rid of you or get you out of the city is enough proof or not, *then* come and post here.

  • as you claim to have lived in xinjiang, why don't you provide the proof and then come and post here?

  • Never said I could provide proof. It's very hard to do in a country that will arrest/deport you for trying to get proof of these things. You just have to go with your gut feeling in cases like these, a lot of the time. There's a gillion things to cite, and uyghurwatchman has provided a link, but you'll just say it's all speculation and deny it.

What I don't understand is why people like you take such a high and confident stance on things they don't know much about, or haven't even witnessed.

  • i was going with my gut feeling.

i am not taking a confident stance on things i no nothing about - quite the contrary, i am being very wary of your claims, in light of past experience with people's claims.

  • Then what do you call comments like this?:

"if you want my sympathy and support, start showing sympathy and support for the victims of terror instead of protesting cartoons"

The Uighurs have nearly nothing to do with that. Even though they're Muslim, they're quite open-minded and lax in their religious views. Associating them with more extreme Muslim communities is not really fair.

I don't usually partake in these types of posts, so I'm done. You can message me in private if you must.

  • i don't call them taking a "high and confident stance on something i know nothing about" that's for sure..

the uighurs have "nearly nothing" to do with that terrorism and I have absolutely nothing to do with the alleged attacks by the chinese - so again, why should I support the uighurs, they showed no support for me

  • to all,if you think im accusing china without any proof, just go to this link, there is a small pdf file

    uyghuramericandotorg/docs/16.pdf

    check it out.

  • Rebiya is a murder, terrorist.

  • Such people as Rebiya Kadeer are our main asset, because she don't sold your soul to oppressive power while being most rich person among uyghurs, she prefered to be leader of nation to personal prosperity, it was your own sacrifice choice. As for US government, it's matter of survival of USA itself to stop Red China, otherwise it will be a half-colony of China very soon, 6.3 millions Han Chinese already are US citizens and changed country a lot, stealing hi-tech technologies, bribing all around.

  • i don't expect something from US, as they labeled a so called uyghur organization as terrorist organization under the chinese requirements and sacrificed whole uyghurs in order to get chinese help on their war on terror. just because of this, chinese killed many uyghurs openly in the name of counter terrorism and committed cultural genocide against uyghurs.

  • Never seen such a strong person, a kind mother. She has been sacrifising so much for the cause of Uyghurs, for the freedom of Uyghurs, to stop the Chinese genocide agaisnt Uyghurs.

  • March 17, 2005: "The release of prisoner of conscience Rebiya Kadeer is a joyful victory, and our joy is only tempered by thoughts of the many others who remain unjustly jailed in China, including those jailed after the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. Rebiya's release demonstrates that no government is immune to the persistent pressure applied by dedicated human rights activists worldwide, and Amnesty International will redouble its efforts to win further releases." - Amnesty International, USA

  • the situation of the uighurs appears to be that the chinese people will not tolerate their violent behaviour

  • Didn't the Chinese government just sentence 6 or so of them to death yesterday for deaths related to the riots? This woman is pleading for help from the US as our left wing president flies the Chinese flag on the White House lawn? Good luck!

  • unfortunately, due to the violent behaviour of muslim minorities all over the world, i have no sympathies for this muslim group either, until it can be shown beyond all reasonable doubt that they are not violent

  • It's difficult to distinguish who exactly is reporting the truth. China has always been active on the front line of propaganda. I try not to label all people in the same group however I also have seen religious violence up close and at the same time I have seen how governments and the media lie. This is why we need spies...to siphon out the truth

  • and as taqiyya is an essential part of islam, it becomes more difficult.

perhaps you object to chinese propaganda, but i would be willing to bet a large sum of money that you have many chinese made products in your home - meaning that you don't object too hard.

  • Oh...no, no, nooooooooooo!

I go out of my way to avoid buying anything from other countries, especially China. I support small US businesses and actually look at labels even if it is an American Co. to make sure it was actually made here. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of US manufacturing companies here any longer because the greedy politicos and CEO's ran our economy into the ground.

  • I can virtually guarantee that parts of your computer are made in the RoC.

The manufacturing problem is not merely greedy CEO's, it is about labor costs.

  • really?

chinese killing of innocent muslim people by ploice and army, excecution of political prisoner, banning their language from schools, banning their reiligous freedom, not allowing them to keep their traditions, transport millions of chinese to occupy their homeland are very "peacefull" way do you thnik??

we don't ask your sympathy as we uighurs are not beggers. but hope you judge things not with your blind eyes, but with your conscious and the sense of justice.

  • i have seen no evidence for any of your claims

however, even if there were, i am unlikely to protest against chinese treatment of muslims until muslims start protesting islamist atrocities such as bali, beslan, london, madrid and mumbai, instead of protesting about cartoons

there were more reporters than marchers at the "muslim-american march against terror"

yet over 130 people were killed in worldwide protests over a cartoon

that kind of mentality does not raise any sympathy in me

  • perhaps uighurs didn't, but their muslim brothers did

but on your logic, there is no evidence that libertarian agnostics are oppressing uighurs, so why should i protest in support of them

  • i don't see the evidence because none has been presented to me and i have not researched the subject

i am not blaming uighurs for anything, i only stated that i am not sympathetic.

do you have evidence that they are being killed because they are muslim?

like muslims kill jews because they are jews?

  • now you can search uighur in internet, you will have some basic idea of who are the uighur peope ,why they are suffering.

when nazis were killing jewsh during 40th, not too many people had sympethy for jewsh because oh the bad opinion of westerners against jewsh people. so it is not strange for me if some people like you ignore the tragedy of muslim uyghurs because of your " bad impression" against muslims.

  • if you want my sympathy and support, start showing sympathy and support for the victims of terror instead of protesting cartoons

there are enough tragedies in the world that deserve my support, without needing to support another religious group

btw, islamic extremists kill more people everyday than the kkk have in 50 years and they have killed more hindus throughout history than hindus have ever killed muslims

  • i told you we don't need somebody's sympathy. im talking to you just because of your ignorance and your baseless accusation of uighurs because of their muslim identity.

tell me how do you know i didn't show sympathy for the victims ? do you think all muslims are same? all muslims think the same?

i think i bored of discussing something with you. apparantly ,you are not the men with normal sense, just another hater who sees things with blind eyes.

  • i made no accusations about uighurs

a plea for help requires sympathy - the title of this video is ".....rebiya hadeer pleas for u.s. help"

  • Uyghurwatchman, your list of allegations sounds uncomfortably similar to the actions of muslim countries all around the world....

Persecution of non-muslims, injustice, no proselytizing, no churches, constant attacks on non-muslims, attacks on schoolgirls, death penalty for homosexuality and adultery...

Sounds like the Uighurs are receiving some of what their Muslim brothers give out.

  • why some people think a muslim should be blamed for other muslim's crime? is that your democracy or justice heave been teaching?

should i blame all christians because of KKK? should i blame all hindus because of some hindus killing of muslims or chrisitians? ............

  • I was not placing any blame.

Merely pointing out some pertinent facts from within the global ummah.
