I remember back when all the media and fans assumed the Riddler was the next villain. Even as recently as a year ago everyone was speculating who the Riddler would be. Nolan's world is reality based, and I'm sure Warner Bros would have loved the Riddler in the next film, Bane makes more sense... although Ra's Al Ghul will also be involved, obviously.

I was one of the many fans who hoped to see the Riddler in the final film, and I must say like everyone else I was disappointed when Nolan said he wouldn't be. But we must look ahead, with Riddler out of the running there is only on villain left that is worthy to be in the grand finale of Nolans epic Batman Trilogy. And that villain's name is Black Mask!

actually Joseph Gordon Levitt was supposed to be the Joker in the 3rd movie. I'm so disappointed because Nolan changed his decision to put the Joker in the 3rd movie.
