thats some incredible technique but i think that you use too many 8th notes. Also, leave some space between phrases - it'll allow the listener to appreciate them more. Listen to Miles Davis... he is one of the best at leaving space. i think it was he who said "its not what you play but what you dont play". That was awesome though.

I was unaware that there is only one approach, and only one tempo, and only a certain amount of notes you should play... seems I missed the concept of jazz which is bad since I'm majoring in it currently. Can you teach me master high1345? Of course I'm being sarcastic. Those weren't just "scales rambling on" he was bopping, ornamenting scale tones and resolving them in to chord tones. I assure you it is not easy what he was doing. Nice lines man.

Sounds great, dude. Great bebop licks. If you maybe put some space in you lines, especially at the beginning, and maybe varied approaches within your lines (i.e. draw from more lyrical phrases, bebop, blues phrases, polyrhythms, and chordal motion), the solo would be less 4:05 minutes of the same type of licks and more of an interesting variety. Please don't take offense. It sounds great.
