I'm replaying old games and just got all the gold medals in this one. Then I came to see if there are any interesting vids of it on youtube and obviously you got some :) Do you have an opinion on what golds were the toughest to get? Because there was at least one that was very annoying/tough for me.

@VVMK: I had trouble with Moff Seerdon's Revenge. If I remember correctly, always too many of my allies died. Moreover, the level was hard to survive in general.

The same goes for Raid of Sullust, as you could die there very fast.

Out of curiousity, I purposely shot down Wedge and Kasan (away from the platforms) once to see if they crash-landed here on Taloraan, a gas planet. A minute later, they said, "I crash-landed safely, need pick up." Where did they land then?

To be honest I'm surprised that their life support systems could withstand the toxic gases down that low.

@vanscamvans theres hidden tech in some of these levels which upgrades the firepower the one for the lasers is in the middle of cloud city

You can actually blow up the ship on the left in the beginning of the video. I used to play as the Y-Wing and blow up everything. I'd even carpet bomb random cities in the game. I'm sick and disturbed and have no shame for it!

Fly as high as you can in the Y wing, and try to bomb the transmitter from up there. No missles or TIEs will pester you. Then fly down and knock out the capacitator.

this is the worst level in the whole game. the tibanna gas containers are glitchy as hell and half the time your fire just goes right through them and hits the civilian ones behind.

Yeah, I think it was even enough to just get bronze on all bonus missions to use it (but to unlock all bonus missions, you had to get gold on all regular missions).

Yes you can use the Falcon in this mission or even the Naboo Starfighter either or would do good for this mission they work. I have played this mission before.

Taloraan is the planet, and Bespin is another, similar planet. Their are other gas planets in Star Wars, like Ord Ibanna and Endor (not the Forest Moon).

At 4:14, Kasan even says that the area REMINDS her of Bespin, and a reference to Cloud City being to small for the Empire (like Lando satys in TESB. I hope that clarifies things.

If you look closely at these gas things, they have imperial signias on them and they also say taht the blue ones are civilian so in the second one you are defending the civilian ones... get it?

It's pretty simple really. The mission objectives in both games are virtually the same. The only difference in the 2nd game was that the Imperial baloons had turbolasers on them that were threatning the Tibanna Gas platforms

@NeoMatrix7777: In this level you have to shoot some gas platforms. Later a large group of Ties appears and you have to kill them. And yes, the planet is called Bespin in the Star Wars movies, but in the game the level is called Battle above Taloraan.

Yeah, I died twice in some levels, because the number of deaths isn't important for the gold-medal. But when you die, you get your secondary weapon back (full ammo again). And I think it's easier to kill enemies or certain things with your secondary weapon, especially if you have homing missiles.

Shooting Ties the normal way probably also reduces your accuracy, if you aren't good at this.

BTW as a cool extra for everyone else...

If u kill all the ties in the level (yes it is possible - just swing in behind the Swarm and get funky)then when u aproach the city, an elite Interceptor comes out from the middle. I usually just missiled it, but having a dogfight and leading it for jollies in the city is great fun. Its the hardest TIE to kill in the game, so have a go if u think ur tough enough lol.

This level was hard to get a gold medal took a lots of tries to get it but earned it and there are a few other levels that are hard to get gold like the ones with speeders and bombers anything else is easy especially if you have the V-wing with it's upgrade

wat're u talking about? the levels w/ bombers & speeders r the easiest. for the speeders, they give u a bunch of at-ats (the huge ones), and for the y-wings, well y wings have a homing ion cannon, making the job a lot easier. and also, y-wing missions are fun
