"It was really quite simple. I just deduced that the random marks represented numbers that added up to Venus. Just like anyone else would do." Tremendous. Thanks for posting.
I could never hope to have a mind even close to the brilliance of(the sadly late)Mr Feynman but the spirit of his fascination with(this small window of existence that we call)life is truly infectious!
Thanks to people like him a great deal of progress has been made in our understanding of reality.
The somewhat off key way people like him veiw things
help to send both our ideas and general understanding off on many very interesting tangents.
I can't help but imagine how much more wonderful it would have been if we had the video capturing technology way back , or that it was not needed and man was capable enough to see the recordings of the past.
im very young when it comes to the appreciation of science, life and admiration of its champions. i think its awesome that we have a medium like youtube for instantly sharing such rare gems with those that have a curiosity for them. what a great way to preserve things that unfortunately so few of us think are worth preserving. thank you for educating me on another facet of feynman and of the beauty of passion.
Thanks for uploading. I've been searching this documentry for last 6 months with no luck untill now. I agree with "francescaemc2". We are in your debt for sharing this with us.

as somebody said in another video, Mr Feynman would just kick ass in any field he's interested. (or as himself said, all you need is just passion)
