  • That first EMBT boat wasn't an SSBN. SSBN is way too big to pull off that much air. The second however was. Trust me, I'm a missile technician. Served on the Wyoming before coming to sweet shore duty

  • @relemar * you're not your

  • back when we could build shit

  • Talk about a milkshake !!!!!!! hold on I'm thinking!!!!

  • tx 4 sharing

  • lawl. I wonder what it feels like to be in the sub when it surfaces.

  • @MainStreetMech it's not all that exciting. We only surface as shown in the video in an emergency situation or when we do our annual test of the system. Our normal surface is slow and methodical.

  • it DOES carry nuclear warheads but there arent any in it

  • Was the second Nuke really nessecary? I mean, one of those missles can create an unimaginable big explosion.

  • @Marcin6313 These aren't Nukes, they're Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles.

  • @relemar trident II have nuclear warheads so they are nukes....

  • No they are nukes each Trident missle has about 16 nuclear warheads inside

  • @charlieiscool1000 ok, so you're saying this video is of a submarine firing nukes? No.they're just missiles.

  • OMG no seriously plz tell me ur joking Trident is a Nuclear detrant its what clegg wants too scape im not even going too argue with u coz i know for a fact that tident is a nuclear missle FFS get ur facts straight man we need too keep it too too defend this country they are nuclear warheads

  • @charlieiscool1000 Yes, I know Trident is a nuclear deterrent. I'm just saying, that in this video this missile that's being launched from a submarine is NOT carrying a nuclear war head, you retard.

  • @relemar: SLBM's may as well carry nukes. A nuclear trident can carry 9 nuclear warheads I think.

  • @Helge129 Jesus christ, I never said they fucking don't. All i'm saying is, IN THIS CERTAIN VIDEO THERE AREN'T ACTIVE NUCLEAR WARHEADS IN THE MISSILE. IF THEY WAS, WE WOULD ALL BE IN A NUCLEAR WAR WITH EACH OTHER.

  • @relemar obviously it doesnt carry nuclear warheads when test firing the missile that would carry them.... it would only have warheads in it if they wer doing a live fire test, or if they wer nuking someone

  • @101andrewj Which is what my ORIGINAL point was but everyone decided to twist it and make it into an argument lol.

  • @relemar yeah... for anybody who thinks they would put active warheads in a test firing missile is a fuckin moron...

  • @relemar Actually, a Trident II D5 SLBM carries 8 W88 300-475 Kiloton Variable Yield MIRVs (Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles), so they are nuclear weapons. One Ohio Class SSBN Carries 24 Trident D5 Missiles.

  • @BCOLES100 It actually carries them when they are test firing? What happens when the missile hits the ground again, doesn't it just go off?

  • @BCOLES100 this is the most correct answer, except a Ohio Class SSBN has 24 missile tubes but rarely carries a full load out.

  • Comment removed

  • @lskinner4 Thanks. I did not know that They usually don't carry a full load, Is that because of Post Cold War budget Cuts? Are you a submariner? I saw your other post and was wondering...

  • @relemar Uh to correct you relemar these missiles are armed with nukes. But if the navy launches one or two they are armed with practice warheads causing no nuclear explosion, just location of where the missile hit. No explosion at all. But an Ohio class SSBN carries 24 nuclear tipped missiles. and each missile has 6 warheads inside. So really a Trident is armed with 144 nuclear tipped warheads. They can all be independently target.

  • @relemar icbm are the worst kind

  • @relemar Your both idiots, yes its a SLBM, but they carry a nuclear payload, aka nuclear warhead, or multiple warheads for multiple targets. Do you think anyone would pay for all of that technology and just have it for conventional missiles? The submerged launching stuff came from the cold war, thinking they would be our sole survivors for retaliation.

  • @relemar rofl they have nuke warheads the ICBM carries nukes to the targets.

  • @relemar Technically you're right. But once a warhead is mated to a delivery system, it becomes an assembled and functional nuclear weapon and hence a "nuke" in that sense.

Since a SLBM has no purpose other than to deliver a nuclear warhead, it would be ridiculous to refuse to call it a "nuke". The warhead and the delivery system are inextricably linked in this case.

  • imagine the landing

  • Lol. *Your on a fishing boat right above it* "SURFACE SURFACE! WE'RE OUT OF COFFEE!" "oh-CRAP" "And blow that boat out of the way will you?"

  • That happened actually... sorta.

Look up the Ehime Maru and USS Greeneville

  • LOL XD

  • wish my girlfriend would give me an emergancy blow..... Great video.

  • For the right price she will ! ! ask around ;-)

  • hehe lol m8 XD

  • @Dietzeeeee

LMFAOOOO!!!!!! i wish this cougar i used to be with did the same!! lol

  • @Dietzeeeee If she doesn't, she's a poor girlfriend... Find a new one...

  • @spiff1003 That comment was made 9 months ago... Trust me I have a new girlfriend and she does preform the occasional emergancy blow upon my request.... LOL

  • The sub coming up was so cool could you imagine being on a small boat and seeing that beast shoot out the water. Bricking it I would think

  • That was Awesome, especially the Submarine Surfacing. Wow !!
