He includes his own personal favorite clips from that particular year and puts them in a "best DCI moments" compilation or montage. He just doesnt include a whole lot of cavaliers, which is fine, but to some of the cavalier fans here, it is disappointing.

I agree that the music doesn't stand very well on its own. I don't run home every day wanting desperately to listen to Machine like I would 'A Defiant Heart', 'We Are the Future', or 'Criminal'.

But I think calling it "pathetic" is a bit much.

Their whole concept was brilliant, however. I will admit that I wanted Phantom to win that year, but Machine deserved what it got.

Thanks buddy. I just can't buy into the traditional Cavies sound. I think it's wearing on them and the only thing carrying them to the podium is their drill. Last great hornline I heard from them was '04, and before that - '95.

I agree that the narration gave the show a unique twist that made Cadets stand out from every other corp, but at the same time I am glad they didn't get the gold. I mean, you can tell a story without having players narrate from the field...Phantom Regiment did a better job at portraying a story with Spartacus than Cadets did, even with microphones...

My biggest problem with the voice overs was that they took over the show. They were very distracting and I barely realised how good the hornline was until I went back and listened to it in an audio clip without the voiceovers.

The people reciting the lines sounded cheesy, not believable. That made it more annoying than powerful.

First of all, I'm not. This is youtube. And also why wouldn't I? Everyone knows it, including your members. You must hear the cat calls like "SHUT THE FUCK UP". In fact you probably know better than we do. I would hate having annoying voices interrupt quality music if I was in that brassline.
