Thanks to whoever originally filmed this and put it up... my best friend, Ejaz, is the guy who jumps up on stage @ 1:34 and again at 4:14, attacks Al, grabs the booze and starts drinking :) Ej was killed in a hit and run in '94... so it's nice to have this memory of him. :}
I was at that concert. I was 19. The guy that got on the stage with Al was my close friend Ejaz, (we just simply called him Eej) who is no longer with us RIP.
Funny to see what we did then and who we are now 22 years later. I can't quite make it out, but one of those guys near the stage was me. I distinctly remember leaving the concert soaking in sweat... in the middle of winter! Yup, those were the good ole' day. :)
yep me love ministry. 4 Al being a cuban he fkn speaks d whole godamend truth. Fuk politics and shit religion. i seen ministry 6 times. So fuk politics and church.
According to Ministry's unofficial website, the musicians comprising 1988's The Land of Rape and Honey Tour included: * Al Jourgensen - Vocals, Keyboards * Paul Barker - Bass, Keyboards * Nivek Ogre - Guitar, Vocals (After 11/8/88) * Bill Rieflin - Guitar, Keyboards * Jeff Ward - Drums * Chris Connelly - Keyboards * Luc Van Acker - Vocals
I believe the drummer is the late Jeff Ward (judging from pictures) so I'm assuming the person in the white coat is Bill Reiflin
Early ministry... and I guess later too were masters of making one, appearantly insignifigant soundbyte, in this case a few words, set the mood for the whole tune!
I saw them in Toronto back in 96 and they were still pretty good. Saw them a few years ago, it was very disappointing. Sadly, I was in kindergarten when this show happened :( Al even looks kinda hot here, minus the facial hair.
