not sure if youll reply, but i recently just got the same headband. im just confused to why there is extra fabric at the top of the metal, and why there is a velcrow part on the back of the headband. why??
I know just how you feel, Anime North is tomorrow and I can't wait!!!!! For your hair, I think you should just spike it up with some Got2Be spiking glue, thats what I'm doing for my Sasuke cosplay tomorrow. :)

I don't know why they designed it like that but I kinda like the extra fabric to be honest.

I don't think it really matters. I didn't bend mine and it turned out fine.
