I thought i'd help people out with deciding. I bought one and it came about month ago, giving me time to review it properly. The colour firstly is NOT luminous green as shown in the video, its a pale green. The biggest issue i have is that headphones do not fit easily. The stock galaxy s2 headphones fit fine, but anything else seems to struggle. A car aux cable litterally wont fit. Its quite annoying. Other than that, its a sweet case and a real eye catcher. :)

I stumbled onto this video when I was looking to get a case for my S2. I bought this case and I am very happy with the purchase. I wanted protection on the phone but didn't want a full case that would cover everything. This case covers and protects the entire edge of the phone, not to mention the soft padding located on the inside wall where the phone is cushion against. very neat! There is just enough bulk to support the front and back from touching the surface of the phone if lying it down.

@Pommedesangre I'm going for it. I'm getting ghost armor for my sgsii and realized that ghost armor is the answer. They have a lifetime guarantee on their skins. As long as this phone can fit into this case without the rubber pads, it should be good to go. Even if it starts wearing on the phone, the ghost armor will show it first. Worst case, I could put a double layer of ghost armor on it. I have to imagine that would still be thinner than the pads and even provide cushion in case of drops.

@Pommedesangre Just got the case today! Fit's the ATT Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777! Sweet case. Minor scratches around some screws holes and it looks like yellow paint underneath, let's hope not.

It still has wiggle room without the included foam tape(excellent!), except for top to bottom thickness. But that should be easily fixed with a thin spacer put on before it's screwed together. If all goes well I'll do a video of it. Still undecided. But my recommendation? BUY IT! Won't be disappointed.

@Pommedesangre Hard to say now that I have the ghost armor on. Before there was a little bit if wiggle room. Now there's none. I made way too long of a write up on it at xda. Here's the link goo . gl/qbGq0 Since I'm definitely leaving the ghost armor on, I'm probably going to use my dremel tool make a little extra room. I don't want it to be metal on frame. Otherwise the screen could crack if dropped. But without using ghost armor, just the foam pads included should be fine.

As soon as I find out if this case will fit on the AT&T version I'll be buying it. I want to get an extended battery but almost no cases allow for extended batteries. Even if I can just find the dimensions of the battery door for the international version and compare to the AT&T version.

I know over all AT&T version is .7mm taller and .4mm thicker, though not sure if it's only thicker by the bump on the back or overall. If anyone has enough specs I'll buy this and video review it.

I just got this case. The first impression was really bad, as the 4 screws inserted wouldnt come out with the included screwdriver. Instead the screwdriver damaged the screws so badly that they cant be used again (only 8 in total included). In addition there seems to be plenty of metal against plastic contact, even if the tape included covers some parts. Especially on the edges around the screen. Im quite skeptical about putting this on my phone. Has anyone been using this case?

For people who are worried about the SGSII camera lens getting scratched you should check out Sugru, it is a silicone rubber product, just place a dab on each side of the back cover near the lens, it will keep the camera from getting scratched. This works for many other phones as well.

@Mezzaaaaa settle down children!! Firstly both nimwit and nitwit are acceptable forms of verbal degradation. Secondly, I think a metal backplate would make this way too bulky, I like having the back open, there is enough of a rim to warrant protection when you place the phone on a surface, I don't need any more than that, I have a Wrappz skin on the back which gives full protection. :) But if you want a case with a full back I'll be reviewing a bunch soon which should fit the bill!! :)

looks really nice, love the colour. I guess the hassle is is taking it on and off if you are the type to do that often. The one im currently using is the one made by otterbox, dropped phone HARD down flight of stairs and not a single scratch. The only downside is its a little chunky.
