This is such a huge double standard. After months of enforcing anti bullying laws in schools all over the country people are looking for excuses because of their religion and supposed "Freedom of Speech"? That's like saying I have the right to call someone a loser because it was on my mind, which goes against EVERYTHING that has been put into action in the past year! Ugh, people need to stop worrying about other people's sex lives and start focusing on the REAL issues at hand

Exactly how do they define religious beliefs...Any religion, or just Christianity? Tennessee is one goofy state...Beautiful landscape but some goofy towns. Tennessee allowed for the bullying of Muslims not too long ago. So I wonder if they will give rights for Muslims, Jews, Deists and so on to pick on Christian kids or if it will just only be allowed if Christian kids make fun of others.
@agag367654 Also, would radicals find safe haven in this state? From the KKK to WBC to even Al Qaeda. If they can come up with a religious excuse, then it would be allowed in this state. What about atheists? I guess religious folk have the right to bully, but atheists do not.
Thank you for voicing out against this ridiculous legislation. I live in Memphis, TN and am shocked at the ignorance perpetually spewed out by our civic leaders. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
You're awesome! Awesome, I tell you! Thank you so much. *boing* *boing* *boing*
I've found it impossible to post links to YouTube comments, but if a person goes to the Tennessee Equality Project on Facebook, they have posted a link to a petition which we can sign.
