For what it's worth, in the 3 minute version of the IKEA ad (which is a bit forced, with the stiff and redundant voiceovers at the start and finish), Jona Lewie shows up over and over, either grinning at the camera of just wandering around in the background. As well as pushing the furniture, they're also giving him a lot of screen time.

A tribute or a deal? He's doubtless doing well out of it, and good on him for it. Did anyone noticed the slightly cleaned up lyrics in the ad version?

Funny thing is I also used to work with someone called Holly who he tried to chat up at a party. I never thought of asking her if it was in the kitchen! I guess it must have been.

I think both she and I only knew he had done "Stop the Cavalry!"

It's also great to watch TOTP and the extremely poor lip syncing at times. First time Kirsty MacColl sings - you can't miss it.
