Does anyone know of any methods of helping to seal the rubber seals in case they decide to warp or leak?

I was thinking about using vaseline on mine to help stop any leakage.

Hello guys.Does anyone have a disturbing sound once recording normal video-out of water-.Its seems every time I try to zoom in-out or move it I get an ugly sound from the mic when playing back.

I think this one is very nice for people who love to go snoking. Good waterproof. One customer in Thailand lost it in the sea during travelling. After 8 days later, someone found it in 12 meter deep (normally they said waterproof for 10 meter). And the camera still work after drowned in the sea for 8 days and in deep of 12 meter. How is nice of it? And the owner already got it back.

can someone tell me how long you can record videos for? is there a size or time limit for videos? i want to know for both xD and SD cards since on some other olympus cameras if you use SD cards with the adapter, videos are limited to 40seconds which is crap! while xD cards are limited to only 2GB unlike SD.

I have this camera and have only used a 4GB microSD card with the adapter in it and I take lots of video with it.  You can record videos for as long as you want depending on how much room you have on your memory card. There does not seem to be a size or time limit on it. I've taken video anywhere from 30 second clips to 10 minutes long...with full sound too above and below the water.

o ok cool thanks. does it take good quality pictures and videos on the default automatic mode? What about at night time....is there shutter lag when taking pics in the dark on night mode?

A lot of cameras even expensive ones, on the market today take pretty poor photos and use really high ISO levels by default making them really noisy and grainy which is annoying. I just spent $300 on a fujifilm one which was like that.

i have a type M+ and it will do 30fps for 22 minutes with a 1 GB. I'm tempted to get a 2Gb so I would have 44 minutes of video.

also, sounds like RMC didn't have a good experience but my 1030 has been great. It has spent alot of time in the pool, mtn biking, white water rafting and spelunking and it has done perfect. It definitely has the hardest life when I go spelunking because we just put it in our bag with all the extra supplies and throw it around like nothing is it in or I keep it on my wrist and it hits alot of rocks and gets crazy muddy.
