WOW - first time I have heard this lady speak, and what a great speech, unscripted, unprompted, articulate and quite inspiring....Hillary may have competition in 2016!
I'm not a US citizen, but I think I speak for most of the rest of the World when I say it it refreshing to see a candidate to US president that does not see invading other countries as a weekend hobbie. Obama is the one candidate that not just all Americans, but every one who feels has not been represented before can relate to.
love it! I joined obama after huckabee gave into mccain. Now I cant vote for obama here cuse im a republican but the general election i can vote Obama!
Obama lovers act like dogs being teased with a juicy red steak. The dogs will eat any meat that is raw without a thought about having it seasoned. An experienced candidate like Mitt would serve America better.
Honestly, No one cares what Maria Shriver thinks, nor should they. You want this country over-run by 50 million illegal aliens overnight????Then just vote for McCain or a Democrat.
when you see all of these powerful women standing together it's wonderful ,and Hilary Clinton running for president, it just seems like women are taking over.
HuffPost states "According to Clinton campaign's latest federal campaign disclosure report, the Democratic presidential candidate paid $7,500 to voice and drama coach extraordinaire Michael Sheehan in October."
Vote for OBAMA - REAL VOICE, REAL CANDIDATE, REAL LEADER!!!
This definitely will be remembered as a historic moment. I've always liked Arnie and Maria. I was almost more surprised that Arnold didn't go ahead and endorse Obama than I was Maria come out and do so. She's a powerful personality herself. I think this will be one of the crucial moments for the California primary.
marketing much? just let ppl vote without all the famous ppl tryin to convince ppl what to ddo. the ppl will vote the next president, they dont need convincing by oprah or maria.
i admire them, but sometimes they should just let it be.
As a 19 year old woman currently in college, seeing these amazing 4 women on stage is inspiring to say the least, that maybe one day I can reach their level.
I was undecided until i watched the debate on thursday and the major difference that i saw was in their style of leadership. Obama presents a view of governing that is inclusive and relies on Americans to work with their government, thus, "yes WE can". By contrast, Hillary promotes a self-centered governing style that drives home what she would do as president. She has moved from her position as first lady that it "takes a village" to solve problems to it takes only Hillary (and maybe Bill)
It's not up to California. If Barack comes within 100 delegates of Hillary, that's a win, because he has the momentum and the money to keep going. Don't don't crazy - this is about the long haul. But above all, VOTE.
Experience? A lump of clay would have done less damage to America as president than Bush has. Barak has more experience than Lincoln did before he was president. He turned out pretty good.
Vote for Sen. Barack Obama tomorrow in your states primary.
Change, unity, possibility, and hope for the american people
He inspires me, and millons of others to stand for change he makes us believe again, that change is possible, and that our moment is now to get change if we want it.
Don't pay attention to the news. Women ARE supporting OBAMA!!! If any of these Republicans win the Presidency, this country will go into absolute CHAOS! People are tired of being disenfranchised and NOT represented! Go-OBAMA!!! We're Behind you! White, Latino, Black, Asian, Women, Men, Young & Old... Let's stand for someone who will stand with us!
Obama is NOT a Freemason or a member of that evil Skull and Bones secret society like the Bush family. That's the only real reason to vote for him if you want freedom.
Republican Huckabee:wants to amend the constitution to show his beliefs is a violation of the 1st amendment to the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion... 2)Romney: Massachusetts had the 3rdlowest economic growth & 3rdlowest job growth with the 3rdhighest population decrease-Only Katrina states did worse, Romney wants to do the same across the country. 3)McCain: Will continue with Bush failed policies. Obama-Yes We Can!
Please check out "Yes we can (the song)" from wbelote on Youtube. It is a great song for Obama! The song has not had that many views but wow, it should! I hope for America's sake that Obama wins. Bush and Clinton have been in the White House for 20+ yrs and look where we are today. Look at Obama's record. He is the man to lead our country!
I really hope that Obama is a truely different politician. As a memeber of the military that is scheduled to go to Afghanistan later this year, my life may very well depend on him.
obama speaks for americans of every color, every creed including american indians. obama will be a great, powerful, passionate president who knows what racism really is and how it really feels. if you truly want change in america... vote for obama!!
Great, independent women (watch closely, Hillary...). Both Michelle and Maria come across as really truthful, intelligent and classy. I hope America will seize this moment!! Let's barack the vote tomorrow!!!
I was at this rally, it was amazing! Michelle Obama is a powerful speaker to say the least, and the energy during the whole rally was electric! This was such a great experience!!!
if hilary is so damn good and makes right choices then why did she vote for the war in irak.she can't blame that on bush because he didn't force her to make that choice, she did that on her own. barack obama knew the RIGHT choice not hilary. hilary and her husband will literally do anything to win this race and they are making me sick.speaking of bill, the way he has been acting it makes you wonder who is trying to be the next president, him or hilary. can she stand on her own two feet? OBAMA08
I am a west African who is living in London and I am sooooooo excited about the US elections. I read & loved Baracks book about 3 years ago, but I never dreamed he would get here! Everyone I love is on stage, Oprah, The kennedy Clan,..AWESOME.
I usually have a love/hate relationship with America, but honestly, God Bless America!! I belive God created your land to be an example to humanity of what we can acheive if we just learn to unite.
Must be interesting living with the Governator and being an Obama supporter. What a strong, independent woman she is. Nothing but respect for Maria. YES WE CAN!
That is so werid. Her husband is a Republican and she is a Democrat. Anyway, Maria must really love Obama to stand up for him. Obama is awesome. Obama08
This morning's CNN poll gives Barack Obama the national lead over Hillary Clinton — the first time ever that Obama has led in a major national poll, though the result is still technically a statistical dead heat. Here are the numbers, compared to the last poll from just over two weeks ago:
Obama 49% (+16)
Clinton 46% (+4)
This poll would seem to indicate that Obama is picking up most of the former John Edwards supporters, as well as a good number of the undecideds.
I wonder whats its it like in the "governator" household if they both chose the people who'll win the primarys? And I wonder what the governators going to do when his guy is going to lose against obama?Hmmmmmmmm.
This all means nothing if people don't get out and VOTE!!! FEB 5TH and beyond. Teall all friends and family to get out and VOTE FOR OBAMA!!! Lets not let this opportunity pass us by. OBAMA 4 PRESIDENT '08!!!!!
Actually, there were lots of guys there. I was seated between two. We arrived at 10 am, and the speeches didn't start until about 2. Some of the guys (and gals) weren't too happy at the delay, but ultimately all decided the wait was worth it.
why do people keep mentioning that hillary is better than barack on the economy, but no one mentions that she wants to freeze interest rates for five years? this is probably one of the WORST ideas i have heard regarding the economy. the housing crisis was an issue of out-of-control credit. the manipulation of interest rates have been the solution, not the problem. she doesnt know what she's talking about
This is just awesome!!! What a trio/presidency with Michelle, Oprah and Kathryn! Maria is awesome!! So awesome that she came to the rally to endorse Barack!!!
I was there- simply an amazing rally, and it got out in time for me to be back for the kick-off.
And yes, there were guys there (I was one of them), but the number of women was impressive, as was the number of older/non-youth considering it was on a college campus.
I hope people put up Michelle's speech- it was the best I've ever seen in person and I've seen Bill Clinton and Barack twice.
8-9,000 attending. Volunteers were contacted last night and most attendees this morning. It was pouring rain. For Los Angeles, last minute, heavy rain, Superbowl Sunday...remarkable. And,many people were sitting behind the cameras for a better view - believe me, it was hard crowd to corral,
Even more reason for me to vote for Clinton. Clinton gives full details of plans. Barack does not give full details, but rather vague ideas. We need an individual who is quick on her feet, and clinton is the one. Go Clinton who will win, and can get positive change.
Obama has laid out very specific plans on every important issue facing us, there's a lot of good information on barackobamadotcom, I'd be glad to send you very intricate detailed information if you want to send me your email address.
Obama was the first candidate to not only talk about very detailed plans, but he was the first to publish all his plans in the most possible details ever a candidate has published.
philipmontag has already offered to send you the details, if you don't want to send your email, just check "barackobama dot com" and click issues and policies.
polaris - evidently you have not read Obama's programs. I came to his campaign not because of his speeches but because I read his programs and they are the most detailed, thought-through and realistic ones I have ever seen. That's why he can stand for hope - because he actually has the intelligence and integrity and real life experience to get us there - with our help. So, please, keep an open mind, inform yourself - there is still time till tomorrow. Take care
Not true polaris1987. Obama has a downloadable PDF on his website called: The Blueprint for Change - Barack Obama's Plan for America. You can see all of his detailed plans. Not to mention the ISSUES section of his website.
I keep hearing about how Michelle Obama is a phenomenal woman. Now, I am a big fan of Barack but maybe I haven't had enough exposure to his wife to understand why she is so great?
Feel free to search for Michelle Obama here in YouTube itself, and you'll find a lot of her speeches and interviews and maybe you'll get a grasp of how she is as a person and her views on issues. I'm one of the people who think and feel that she's phenomenal. I hope you'll find the thing you're looking for.
Take that CNN/MSNBC/FOX...women have a VOICE we think for ourselves..it's not a gender thing or a race thing stupid...its about what's best for this nation!
"WE are what we've been waiting for" I sincerely hope this resonates with voters in California. I will vote Republican before I vote Hillary... Rage Against The CLINTON Machine OBAMA!!!! Yes we can! If you settle and vote for Hillary - dont you dare complain - she is more of the same. This is just another example that Obama can unite!!!!
I was undecided until i watched the debate on thursday and the major difference that i saw was in their style of leadership. Obama presents a view of governing that is inclusive and relies on Americans to work with their government. By contrast, Hillary promotes a self-centered governing style that drives home what she would do as president. I was shocked when I heard Michelle call her to the stage. Her husband (The Terminator himself) just recently endorsed John McCain. Now she is here endorsing Obama? Wow...I wonder what the political conversations are like in that household...lol

It was a great event.
There were a decent guys there (me being one of them), and we got out in time for the Super Bowl.
Amazing speech by Michelle too.

YES WE CAN!

There were so many women in that rally. I guess the guys were probably sitting in the couch at home watching the big game.

Schiziodman - I hear ya! Maria is awesome and I like that she doesn't give a damn what her hubby thinks, she's a person of her own mind.

Forget Hillary, why not elect Maria Shriver as the first woman president...

Obama has laid out very specific plans on every important issue facing us, there's a lot of good information on barackobamadotcom, I'd be glad to send you very intricate detailed information if you want to send me your email address.
philipmontag 4 years ago 65
Obama was the first candidate to not only talk about very detailed plans, but he was the first to publish all his plans in the most possible details ever a candidate has published.
philipmontag has already offered to send you the details, if you don't want to send your email, just check "barackobama dot com" and click issues and policies.
You can also Google search anything you want.

polaris - evidently you have not read Obama's programs.

You should learn about him before saying anything. Do it, and you will change your opinon about him. Clinton is not bad at all, but he is better.

I keep hearing about how Michelle Obama is a phenomenal woman. Now, I am a big fan of Barack but maybe I haven't had enough exposure to his wife to understand why she is so great?
TheHustler909 4 years ago
Feel free to search for Michelle Obama here in YouTube itself, and you'll find a lot of her speeches and interviews and maybe you'll get a grasp of how she is as a person and her views on issues. I'm one of the people who think and feel that she's phenomenal. I hope you'll find the thing you're looking for.

She has moved from her position as first lady that it "takes a village" to solve problems to it takes only Hillary (and maybe Bill)

I was shocked when I heard Michelle call her to the stage. Her husband (The Terminator himself) just recently endorsed John McCain. Now she is here endorsing Obama? Wow...I wonder what the political conversations are like in that household...lol

But where's the whole clip of Michelle's speech? She is an amazing woman and we would be lucky to have her as our first lady!
