  • the co-operative bank did not go bankrupt last year at all??? give ya head a shake and get ya facts right fluvxuk... i work for the co-operative and i bank with the co-operative and iv never heard so much rubbish in all my life!!!

  • faster payments is now up and running however there is a problem which is kept secret by the coop bank and that is whilst it`s widely advertised that the maximum than can be transfered in a transaction is £10000 the most the coop will allow you to is only £85 yes i repeat £85 they say this will increase over time

  • thank you for your comment but just checked my sort code 089249 on the apacs site and still no faster payment however i was told by the bank that it will come into operation over the next couple of weeks so fingers crossed

  • My partner's with the Co-operative and has lots of positive things to say about it. I like the fact it's owned by 3m people - not some overseas hedgefund. Lots of folk moving over, me too.

  • dont join this bank unless your forced to ie bankrupt last june they sent emails to customers telling them the faster payments service would start in september guess what it still hasn`t started & NO further contact from them
