have to say i was gonnay get this but not so sure now. is it on arcade cos it looked very easy to control. codemasters were saying that this would be like the real thing but if you go offline like that you cant just flick it back over to the racing line. why isnt it the offical F1 HUD most people who buy this will be F1 fans and would expect the real thing.

@ianw2809 There is different settings for the physics. He probably has everything turned on "easy". But i just think that the normal F1 HUD will take up too much of the screen. I think that on F1 2006 CE the hud (which i think were the official hud from the tv feed at that time) took up way too much of the screen, and were positioned very bad for cockpit view so you could not see anything in the mirrors.

@ianw2809 Yeah i think that too. But there will be no TV feed like commentators, you will only have the option of a race engineer or nothing. (I am not 100% sure that you can turn him off actually, but i heard that there will be options of different race engineers) And i have not seen a vid without the Names over the drivers, but i hope that you can turn them off.

I doubt it. This is being done by Codemasters, who have a LOT of experience with driving simulators. They're very good at tweaking games to they can be either realistic or arcade.

This is 'Arcade' Mode for beginners to F1 games, you also have Simulation mode, wich will be really realistic.

Also look at the hands its about being smooth as possible the hands look like they are moving way too fast. In real life do you see drivers hands move that fast. No only in some cases but not racing all the time. It maybe be that they are using the pivot handling thing.

Saying I have played the game will be bull shit. I have not played the game. There are more things to realism then some of the stuff that you bought up. The cars have to look like there turning like a Formula 1 car. Helmets never move that much when your on a onboard with a driver. I know they may fix this but it still needs to look abit smoother. I am a big fan of sim not short races that is just a waste of time. Dont need to explain but maybe you should just watch the things I just mentioned.

Codmasters should leave F1 for better developers. This looks like shit. Not real at all bring back Geoff Crammond and make Grand Prix 5. I know that they have old people that worked and previous games of Geoff Crammond's but with a history of Codmasters having realistic games I doubt this will be good. I remember when they brought out V8 supercars 3 saying its the most realistic game ever because we have watched thousands upon thosands of dvd's. Sorry to say codemasters have Failed again.

I dont know why you bought dumb into it in the first place. Plus its a game. I know there are shity brake markers and lines for those that cant race but the cars wheels look funny when turning and the handling looks out of character. I did not bring up any of the shit you mentioned

I think these guys are demoing using gamepads.. if you played shift and grid on gamepad.. the steering wheel pretty much looks like that.. and you gotta tinker with the settings to make the gamepad really work.. so I think it would be unfair to say that this guy sucks at driving. Also, I think this game is offered in arcade and sim modes.. but being an E3 expo with perhaps not so great racers.. of course they would choose the arcade mode instead.
