  • yhe best band in the world

  • Its their winter Uniform

  • why are they dressed like russians?

  • @TheDaniiboy Russians wear the Ushanka, totally different.

  • oh!i saw the Abbey Davis, mentioned on 'Guarding the Queen' TV programme.

  • I understand that L/Sgt's wear 3 white chevrons on their tunics and Sgt's 3 gold chevrons. Thats to differenciate between both ranks. Is there any differences between them when they use grey coats? Thanks

  • The only other members of the Brigade of Guards to wear what we called the "Gold kit" were the Blues and Royals and Lifeguards Bands which formed the mounted Squadrons of the Household Cavalry Regiment. The State Trumpeters which were formed from the band also wore this uniform. Apart from this we wore our "Blues" or "Reds" which included the helmets with plumes. Mounted or dismounted required another dress standard.

  • 0:47 end of march but a trombone does PEEP :) :)

  • I like the cute lady constable at 1:20.

  • @gmoore9449

    me too :)

  • Great to hear the peal of bells in the background, did you know there are over 5000 full peals of bells in Britain and only 20+ in the whole U.S ?

  • Can someone give me information about the uniform of the drum major

why are they dress like that ?

    thanks in advance

  • @474880 See here for an explanation of the Drum Major's State Dress:

  • @troopingadmin

thank you very much for the information

    it is well praised.

i hope to have the occasion one day to be a bystander when they march in parade

  • @474880 The Drum Majors uniform goes back some 300 years, the jocky cap is the fore runner of the baseball cap. This uniform is only ever worn in the presence of a member of The Royal Family (H.R.H.). Other times he wears the bearskin cap, scarlet tunic or Athol Blue greatcoat depending on the season of the year. There are five Drum majors, one for each regiment of foot guards.

  • GREAT ENDING.

  • Nice to hear the Corps of Drums at the back playing 'Hazlemere', a fantastic march!!

  • So much rubbish expressed here! As for that guy 42 trombone? Shame!

36-year Military Musician, including the Grenadier Guards und er Fred Harris! And Founder of the 100-piece Band of the Ceremonial Guard, Ottawa, Canada.

  • The quality of the audio reproduction does not give the Band much credit.

    The distortion is terrible.

I almost would go as far to say: why bother to show it at all?

  • Maybe you should be proud of what they do for your counrty instead of taking the piss!!!!

  • "paep!!" hahaha.... also the pro's can make a mistake =)

  • the march played at the begining played by The Band of the Grenadier Guards is called "To Your Guard"

  • Lol I love it, reminds me of The Muppet Show with the Honk at the end of there song. I'm laughing away here.

  • That'll be a first beat ending then!

  • An extra note thrown in for good measure at 48 secs? mmmm
