I love animals and I know that attaching some cameras on their backs must really have an impact on their behaviour, but I also know that that's the best researchers can do in order to know more about this vulnerable species. There has been a high seal pup mortality recently, and people still haven't figured out what causes it. If there were less damaging ways of doing that, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be doing all that stuff to the animals. =)
