@MusicalAbsinthe I'm afraid you're wrong again. Synyster joined halfway through the Sounding the Seventh Trumpet era. He wrote some of the guitar parts for the album, the first being To End the Rapture. Then he took up his lead guitarist duties. That was in 2000.

Zacky was lead in 1999, and Syn became lead in 2000. Waking the Fallen, and this song, were written between 2002-2003. Syn plays this solo. He plays all the solos apart from one. I don't want to come across as a know it all, sorry.
