the engineer was probably more focused for the next crossing i have seen a train going through a crossing with no horn or cab lights on going through a crossing good video was this amtrack traveling on a u.p. line

Im not sure, I thik the engineer didn't see any cars and just didn't blow the horn, but your guess is as good as mine.
