Wow. Roxy from OLTL has changed a bit in 21 years. She's taking some kind of youth pill. Her character here on Ryan's Hope, Deliah, is similar in many ways to her current character on OLTL. Clever casting. OLTL seems to capture the essence of what made RH such a great show !
I accidently found this show in syndication while flipping through channels at 5am one morning a few years ago. I love catching up with the episodes, but SoapNet only has episodes up until 1981, then it goes back to '75. I love seeing so many of today's stars in their early years.
@titaniclady1 They just did that again - i would love to find video after they cut off. Does anyone know why soapnet just goes to 1981? Put them on DVD or somethuing for us, someone, pleaaaasse! :)
@amylh322 It had something to do with the rights to background music. However, it was during that time that the producers were trying to faze out the Ryan's (??!?!?!?!) and focus on new character (like the Kirkland's). That didn't last long because the viewers were furious.
@titaniclady1 I found this show when i woke up at 4am and ended up starting to watch it when i would wake up earlier and not able to sleep. I remember watching this show in its early years when i was in grade school (summer). I was wondering what happened - i missed a few weeks and the next thing i new it was back to the beginning again. I was wondering what happened to Joe. He became my reason to watch it. And know he is gone.
No, you're thinking of Ben Stiller's mother, Anne Meara (I think is her name...). This is Helen Gallagher. She was on AMC as Nurse Harris who interacted mostly w/Noah, Julia, and Dr. Joe
Who is Jillian standing with? It would be too sad after all everyone has been through, for at least one Coleridge girl to not end up with a Ryan.

Of course she is. If she wasn't, then Faith wouldn't be so reluctant to talk to Pat. Always hated this Faith - she's so cold and uptight.

Perhaps the saddest ending to any soap opera. That Danny Boy scene gets me every time.
