A "jockey box" or "coil box" should be filled with half ice and half water. Oh, and ideally the inside should be the same temperature as the keg that you have iced down in your trash can or whatever you are using for your keg. If you have foam issues, the two main culprits are temperature and pressure. Just some helpful tips, should they be needed, for the alcoholics and beer lovers!

I say mount a small pump on the beer in inlet and get your liquid from anything. Like water or pop (that's what we call soda here in Canada lol) but you can use it for whatever you want :)

You forgot the co2 or beer gas or compressed air to push the beer through the line .Just hooking up the jockey box with out at least 2 psi over keg head pressure will not allow you to pour anything. If you want to keep the beer free of excess foam add water to the jockey box and through in a 12 volt bilge pump to circulate the water,it keeps the temperature even throughout the jockey box. 1/4 in or 5/16 in tubing is better as well as all stainless or plastic fittings.Don't hammer threaded ends
