Cannabis is illegal because of many reasons, but mostly because the corrupt power entities of this earth fear people to have freedom of health and mind. Cannabis is a super food and medicine and science discovers more about it daily. The reggae reminds me of my recent trip to Europe and a reggae gig in Paris in the basement floor of the hostel. There is one government institute allowed to do research on cannabis. What they found was a negative correlation between pot and lung cancer. Thats right, pot has anti-cancer properties. Thats not to say its all healthy for you, but cancer isn't one of the things it'll give you.

Also, whoever says cigs are worse is wrong. Wrong and dumb. besides never having ONE recorded OD from pot in medical history, nicotine is more addictive than heroin. This is again coming from government research.

I've heard about the studies showing THC to have anti-cancer properties, but the only ones I'm aware of were conducted with pure THC or THC vapor, rather than smoke. weed smoke definitely contains carcinogens, but whether the anti-cancer properties of THC and the other cannabinoids are enough to counteract them, I'm not sure.

If you know of any studies where smoke was used let me know

Didn't know that part, I only know that the government institute went looking for the correlation between smoking pot & lung cancer, and found a negative correlation. Its impressive because this group was trying to prove it causes cancer. So even if they didn't use full buds in their study, the point that its relatively harmless *when compared to cigs* (key part) still stands.

i've lost all respect for politicians for waging this alleged "war on drugs" on which they spend billions of dollars, 4/5 of which is used to crack down on weedgrowops. Think about what a waste of money that is, when weed has been shown to be harmless, and in fact benefiticial for certain illnesses. It's safer and better to smoke a blunt than to take an aspirin.

@NaturaIMeds I hear you....but keep in mind that the CIA and DEA are behind all of the narcotics dealings whether we find out about it or not...drug bust money only goes to fund things that our taxes don't cover...ie. secret space program etc.

Cigarettes kill hundreds of thousands yearly. I'm willing to concede that pot probably can cause cancer, but cigarettes have hundreds of other chemicals in them which make them deadly and addicting.

even if it does kill me one day, weed is worth it. cigarettes arent
