Teachers across America must be living in fear that their campus is the next Columbine. That type of thing is becoming almost common place. The stress must definately take it's toll. I'd be a paranoid wreck. My jaw is on the floor over the way I see kids treat their parents today. There's no reason to believe they will treat their teachers any different. My father would have put me through the wall.
I'm a little bit worried that the video didn't catch the whole situation. At the beginning he yells something like "I told you to get back". That coupled with the fact the kids are saying "he didn't do anything, you can't hit him". Perhaps she was being quite aggressive herself and he responded with aggression. A friend of mine was a school teacher who told me that every time the bell would ring and she had to enter the hallway that she would look for another teacher to walk with because of the fear she had of some of the students. we live in a world today that is in a slow decay of moral valvues and I fear for the furture as I get older

Teachers across America must be living in fear that their campus is the next Columbine. That type of thing is becoming almost common place. The stress must definately take it's toll. I'd be a paranoid wreck. My jaw is on the floor over the way I see kids treat their parents today. There's no reason to believe they will treat their teachers any different. My father would have put me through the wall.

I'm a little bit worried that the video didn't catch the whole situation. At the beginning he yells something like "I told you to get back". That coupled with the fact the kids are saying "he didn't do anything, you can't hit him". Perhaps she was being quite aggressive herself and he responded with aggression. The only difference was that the camera happened to be rolling when he did, portraying him as the aggressor. Just a thought.

My son just finished kindergarten and that was the first dressing down he got from me when I heard he wasn't paying attention. You WILL respect your teacher and sit down, be quiet and listen! Didn't anyone learn from their bully classes and the teacher as well?. I saw this as a crisis of people not willing to help others in a crisis. I was embarrassed for all the students who would not help her. Use the cells to call the office or 9-11. Go and yell and get help immediately.

Usually theirs videos of teachers abusing kids but this right here is self defense. She had the right to protect herself. I hope this child's parents beat the shit out of him.

A student once asked me what id do if he "got up and kicked my ass"..i said ...there are 10 other young men in this classroom and if ive treated you and them so bad that they wouldtn get up and help me ...i guess i deserved it....the kid sat down and didnt say another word.

I am for the teacher! He is lucky she didnt have a bonified right left. Shows how DUMB legal system is....they dropped charges because "he cant tell from vid" when it is painfully obvious that jack leg student provoked the action by the aggresive posture. Rest assured, that jack leg will encounter someone one day that will absolutely flatten his tires....Oh, to be a fly on the wall when that happens!!! What goes around...comes around.

This is insanity. She was defending herself. This young man was in an aggressive stance towards this woman. She had to protect herself. Our world is spinning out of control. This young man should no better. I am in no way advocating violence against chidren in any way. This young man was way out of line, and she had to defend herself from him attacking her.

Agreed Pastor Dowell, the teacher was in all right to defend herself from what you can see, was a straight up attack on her with fear and threat of bodily harm. As far as the media straggling the fence on the incident is just a way to divide viewer opinion on the matter, helping to keep masses confused and divided on all things big or small. Right is Right n Wrong is Wrong! I see it daily, disrespectful young and it's continual decline, but the training or rather lack of it starts at home..

A friend of mine was a school teacher who told me that every time the bell would ring and she had to enter the hallway that she would look for another teacher to walk with because of the fear she had of some of the students. we live in a world today that is in a slow decay of moral valvues and I fear for the furture as I get older

Kids are sued in Texas for wanting to say a prayer at their graduation.. yes I know it was overturned but really now just because one person objects let that person stay home or close his ears. I am tired of my rights to believe being trampled on just so someone else's are not GOD cries at all this hate that is going on in this world.
