As a fellow serious collector (I have over 200 buildings and over 700 figurines though I have just started collecting the Carnivals). Where are you in Aust - I am in Sydney and wud Love to see your display I bet it is fantastic in real life.
I just wanted to let you know that your video inspired me to begin my christmas village this year. Its almost done, so I want to record it, and once is done, I will post. I'm looking forward to see your christmas village 2009.

No, I thought about to buy it, i only have 5 of these houses but they are really small. I don't know if i am going to buy it. This not cheap. Maybe when i am older. I'm 15 year so i don't have a lot of money :P
what lighting did you add to it to help display everything at night? Do you have some low lighting above it? If so, what wattage? Or is it lights underneath the snow blanket? Wonderful and inspiring display!

My toyfactory has also jammed the belt below still works but the belt on top has jammed. If you can exchange it do so.

Thankyou for your comment.
For the video I used overhead downlights on a dimmer control. I also used blue colour lights which gave it a pinky/blue wash across the village.
Normally when we view the village the down lights are never turned on, it was only used to make the video.
