I gotta agree with Garzaboy79. Wall, Rose, Evans, Cousins, Davis, Gilchrist, Bledsoe, Jones would all have gotten drafted right out of high school if that was still allowed. Pay Pal Cal doesn't "prepare" anyone for the NBA, he simply babysits them for a year and then they leave. I'm a die-hard terps fan but I hate Kentucky fans even more than I hate Duke fans. If you wonder why, just look YooHoo's comment. They think everyone is going to UK. I hope the go to MD just to piss you off you pricks.
clearly the point guards calipari sent to the NBA were not "prepared," just look how badly they've all struggled. somebody definitely sounds jaded and i don't think it's the kentucky fan.
go horns - and the sf rick barnes failed to prepare for the NBA
I think Kentucky is the place for these two very talented players. Calipari does a great job preparing guards for the next level. Plus, playing for the winningest team in all of College basketball is special. I don't know what their plans are now, but I hope they take a good look at Kentucky.
@proscout2009 if taking the most NBA ready guards out of high school and letting them declare after one year is "a great job of preparing guards for the next level", then sure, I guess you're right. Point blank.....Calipari didn't "prepare" any of his recent guards anymore than he "prepared" Darius Washington, Robert Dozier, Antonio Anderson or Rodney Carney for the NBA. It's all an illusion. A very bad one at that, you'd be aware of it if you weren't a jaded Kentucky fan.
