Did you read up on the near perfect weight balance work tey did or the Low center G point?

The D-45 will be all motor with 200 hp non turbo so no boost lag like the Si.

ok so I didn't realize it was RWD, that's small potatoes though. The s2000 has a flawless weight balance, yet it is one of the worst cars for getting loose, and getting loose quick with little countersteering abilities. 200hp isn't shit and if your seriously trying to argue that a 200 hp NA motor is better than a 330hp turbo motor, your the one who needs to to a little research. If you pull the turbo off that motor it still makes more power. And low center of g =coilovers

oh and none of those cars have a sohc setup, and the Si doesn't have a turbo. and the only advantage rwd has over fwd is from a dig, I love subaru, and I like Toyota. All I'm saying is people have been wanting a rerelease of the Supra and we get this crap. Might as well be a scion tc with a better sounding engine as far as I'm concerned. And the transmission that comes stock in the impreza with this motor is paper, so good luck boosting it.

@jowen034 when did I ever say anything about the S2000 of corse the S2000 is a great car with great weight balance for one is a roadster the FT-86 (or GT-86 to which it is now called) is a coupe and if you get an S2000 with an LS2 motor it would have the FT-86 owned.

Another thing about the transmission and motor they are not pulled from the impreza there an all new type of boxer and the impreza had an AWD layout meaning different setup.

You can get an EJ20 to sound like and inline 4 if you use EL Headers! Nothing like dubbing the sound eh.

It will use an EJ20 based block, plugged by Toyota and then tuned by Yamaha like the BEAMS 3SGE's and so on...

it uses a h4 boxer 4 cylinder engine similar to the subaru wrx sti wagon and sedan uses just with out a turbo thats at least what the concept has the 2 choices of engines as reported but not confirmed is going to be a naturally aspriated 2.0L four cylinder engine or a 2.4L turbocharged for the concept it is a non turbo engine however the gsport concept uses the engine out of the 2010 subaru sti wrx

why NA boxer, they have very poor low to mid torque this coupled with the fact that its only a 2L id say ur better with a high strung Yamaha/beams tuned Toyota engine, there the true masters of NA not Subaru for example 2zz-ge 1.8L producing 189hp, Beams 3sge 2L producing 210hp, Yamaha LFA 4.8L producing 540hp, give me the figures on the best boxer NA engine any one? they wont be close i guarantee it!

@JDawgg910 Turbo'd Boxer engines have the deep growl because of just that, the turbo. Forced induction engines generally generate a lower/deeper tone. Example 4efte vs 4efe. Even a RB20DET vs RB20DE. Boxers usually make a "rumbling" in my opinion

No, the 4A-GE has been retired since the Toyota corolla 2001 facelift edition got launched.

Opposed to the 4A-GE the new engine was cast from aluminium.

This car the FT-86 will have a 2.0 boxer engine stock i think, which is much better then the 4A-GE's 1600 cc's

Also there will be a version thats turbo charged :) or supercharged hopefully since thats more safe and better for drifting.

No... This is a boxer motor out of a subaru. Hince how this car has gotten the name toyobaru, and it will be released as both a toyota and a subaru. Only difference being the subaru will have a slight power increase and will of coarse be awd. EL headers are very similar sound wise to a regular i4 engine.

Look up some videos, I know theres a handful showing the diff between UEL and EL headers for boxer motors.
