How to save in Pokémon Black/White DeSmuME

well is there anyway to save using the ingame feature? i was perfectly able to with heart gold.

@xxESPx Well i'm not sure if it is now, since I made this when the game was released in Japan. Emulators probably support to save using the ingame feature, im not sure since I bought a copy of the game

That was how I opened the rom. You can just simply click "Open Rom" and select your game

Uhm , Hey guys. I found out the normal way to save your game by simply saving it ._. the problem isn't in the game really ~ but more on your Desmume

Go to "Configuration - Path Setting" there you could see "SaveRam" simply change the destination outside of "C:"

If u close ur emulator after saving the game, den close the emulator . When u on back the emulator the save file or whatever u save on will disappear. I got this problem.

When I save like u did and I close the game I'm playing desmume delete's it when I come back to it the next day

I no longer play on a emulator, I got the game. But try to download newer versions of the emulator and mess around with the save configurations. You can also do backups on the .sav file and save them in different folders, that can tell you if that folder that is deleting your .sav file has some issue

I'm not quite sure about that problme, but it might fix if you download another rom or if you copy my DeSmuME settings from my channel

I passed the whole game, defeated the Elite 4 and ended up in my house.

So there is no problem whatsoever about the Pokemon League, since you don't interrupt your emulator, it just continues (just be sure to see all the credits, and you will be brought back to the main menu where your autosave is).

There is NO PROBLEM in using this method.

Will this work if you beat the game? For example when you beat the pokemon league, like in the previous versions, you can still continue, right?

Everyone thinks this to be the solution, problem with Pokemon games is... After the Elite Four, your reset to the start menu, where your supposed to load the IN GAME autosave, to end up back at your house. Can't do that if your just saving the game state with the program.

I'm not sure if it works on HG/SS this was just a method I found to save in B/W. With other versions I can't help you I'm afraid

when i do this, it freezes after about half hour playing so then i reload it and then freezes angain in like 10 so i try again and it froze intantly so i saved it while it was frozen and now when i load it is still frozen, is there any way of saving in game? btw im playing on soul silver heart gold, but this is the only vid i could find

I'm pretty sure it works on both,maybe your rom isn't the best.

I would give you the link for that one but I didn't saved it when I downloaded the rom :S

Try googling Pokemon Black/White english patch rom or something.
