very nice I have a 383 stroker with 700r4 (built) tranny and a 3.73 rear I only have the edelbrock stroker and hooker supercomp headers in mine and Im pushing high 11's at 104mph off the bottle

if you dont build your own motor then how can you be proud of it?? theres no pride in having someone elses work under the hood no matter how much it costs. just cuz people can slap on a new air filter and a nice shiny chrome tip does not make them a mechanic. and im not specifically refuring to this car.

@nzoucha1 i agree! me and my dad built our 83 ourselves EVERYTHNG was done by us, hell we even mounted the tires on the rims with no machine lol built not bought!

@nzoucha1 I agree as I have built my own cars before but I disagree as well that you can have pride even if you build it. Not everyone knows how to put a car together. Just because you dont know how to mechanically work on a car doesnt mean your any less of an enthusiast. Some ppl dont have time to learn how to work on a car properly but they can still like a certain car and be an enthusiast just like me or anyone else who works on their car.

@keith91z28 I agree with you I have the 84 trans am with a 383 stroker built 700r4 tranny and I replaced the rear with 3.73 rear I have 4 buddies of mine that all do different stuff like mechanics exterior paint interior fabric stuff. I have not done anything to my car myself besides black out my tailights that does not mean I am any less in love with the building of cars my friends love working on my vehicle and we all take pride in it i wish i knew how to work on my car but I dont have time

Maybe its because its thru a full exhaust but this sounds nothin in comparison to the 434 shafiroff motor in the copper colored camaro thats on here odd if you ask me and if you are going to spend the money on a shafiroff motor why the hell did you go back with the efi when he has them dyno tuned with the carbs? dumb ass move if you ask me which you didnt but still

@Willmont85 Just because its a 434 shafiroff motor doesnt mean its going to sound like every other 434 shafiroff motor. Use your meat-head! And I definitely dont agree with your carb statement....just shows ignorance. Who says that the motor was even dyno tuned by shafiroff?

@FirebirdDude88 in this video it has 1 3/4 hooker super comp longtubes, 3 in. fabricated y pipe, and flowmaster american thunder cat back. i took the flowmaster dual tailpipe muffler off and it now has a magnaflow single 3 in. in / 3 in. out muffler with a mufflex hidden tailpipe. the car has a whole new sound to it now. sounds MUCH better than the flowmonster.

@Simpleman108 it had a small hydraulic roller in it back then...wanted to keep it streetable.but the 434 that's in it needs more cam. currently putting a comp solid roller in it. looking to run mid 10's on motor and mid to low 9's on the spray. it's always nice to have a 9 second street car that runs on pump gas.

nice car my uncle has one of these excepts it's red with a golden bird on the hood.he's a dipshipt with it he doesn't even know what kind of motor it runs i'm sure it's a 305 small block though. the only thing wrong with it was it's been keyed but i have a grandpa who owns a body shop. i'm gunna make an offer on it for about 2500 when i have enough money for it which should be this summer.
