You should always try to match the sizes of your fish (as best you can). Acei are one of the most docile of the Mbuna cichlids. How big is your tank? As long as you have enough rocks in your tank (places for them to hide and have their own territory), that will reduce the aggression. Larger numbers of fish will also cut down on the aggression as well.
i was wondering. i have a 1inch acei and planning to buy a 2 inch cichlid.will they chase each other or will they just chase and stop when they get to know each other?
