Headlights do not look like that. There have been numerous attempts to debunk and, or prove these lights to be man made. All attempts have failed. I do not know what the lights are, what produces them and from what source. No one has proved what they are and no one has proved them to be something they are not. It still is a mystery and that is what makes them a wonderful mystery that intrigues the eye and the mind of witnesses.

I've seen a phenomena happen similar to this around high tension power lines. It glows a very dull blue color though, almost like a UV light. I think it's due to moisture causing a glow around the power lines. But then again, maybe it's real.

It is definitely headlights. On MTU's home page there is a story about a group of students who investigated it and proved without a doubt that it is cars. As a student up there, I drove there and saw it myself. The only colors it ever is are red and white, the colors of headlights and tail lights. The road was realigned in that area so when you are at the observation point, you are seeing cars coming at you from 4+ miles away until the road turns. Check it out on mtu.edu

They obviously come down the powerline right-of-way which is not a road, so they're NOT car headlights.

its quite possible that cars are somehow related to the phenomenon, however what i see in these videos simply look nothing like car headlights from 5 miles away would look. It would have to be amplified a lot, or move more.

Omgosh. That is cars. There is a reason why sometimes the lights are red. The cars are going north. The southbound cars give off the lantern- like light. The red lights get brighter because the driver hits brakes. The road is bumpy so they move slowly. This attributes shaking of the headlights. Flashlight effect.

Um..this would make sense except that the Paulding Light only shows at night, surprisingly, the only time that Gas can be seen with 'visions'. It's unknown why the infamous Paulding Lights exist.. UFO's however, show up day and night, so it's either that ONE: The Paulding light is suddenly changing, or TWO: UFO's are real (It's not a plane or helicopter because it was tested by Fact Or Faked: The Paranormal Files

I have actually been to this site personally and have walked up the hill to where the light supposedly originates..and there is nothing to see once you get up there. It is quite unnerving to say the least. For the skeptics..if you don't believe it, take a trip up to Michigan and go see for yourself! It is some seriously freaky shit!
