First saw him open up for John Mayer/Guster in 02'. Still a huge JM fan, grew out of guster. But there was this one point where John got Martin back on stage during his set and it just floored me. I'm just starting up another Martin Sexton phase, and I love it.

i hope the person taping this actaully realizes what they taped.. an incredible 6:33 minutes of a legend.. i'm glad the quality is great, but the crowd will regret not paying attention..

Not only is he a genius is has more talent in his little toe than 90% of the "artists" you can hear on the radio. When he sings into the mic that makes him sound like a screaming guitar, or when he does the beat box, or when he beats on his guitar, or when he plays bass lines on the same guitar that he is playing melody on...you can't help but listen in awe. Martin is the most soulful, rocking, musical master in the past 50 years.

martin sexton is by far one of the most talented and under rated artists. its a shame to see the media and pop culture embrace crap like brittney spears and jessica simpson, while talented artists like this that care about music often never get the recognition they deserve... martin is a genius.
