  • I like your ideas. That's why EXACTLY why I'm working on a new community website for vloggers -and I need some help testing it! Check out vlOOger.com and feel free to come to my channel and ask any questions. I'm not trying to make money - I just love vlogging like you and wanted to start a community for it. :) EVERYONE'S INVITED!

  • Nice video, but I think it's safe to assert that this is the internet and unless you limit who can view your content, you are opening yourself up to criticism from all sources - including morons with nothing better to do than tell you, "your a f@ggit." Don't post content you wouldn't want everyone to see. This includes friends, family, ex-lovers, etc. You have the right to post your content, but your next door neighbor has the right to watch it - it's Youtube, not a diary. Privacy doesn't apply.

  • I think respect and decency is not too much to expect from people. That this is the internet does not logically lead to the conclusion that people should be allowed to be as rude and disrespectful as possible. Criticism is one thing; but "your a f@ggit" is not criticism, it's hate speech.

  • I agree completely. People SHOULD be treated with respect and care, especially when it comes to something like a vlog where they're probably pouring their hearts out. But this is the internet, and it's been my experience that many people are hateful and rude. This is partly why I don't vlog or express myself openly via any online outlets, though I admire those with the courage to do so. I still don't think it's a good idea to vlog about things you wouldn't want everyone to hear, just to be safe.

  • Although I don't think people should base their lives on how others view them, I do think it's a good idea to think about what you chose to put out on mediums anyone has access to. Obvious examples are using foul language in a complaint about your employer in a video, as it's possible (though perhaps not probable) that they will see the video. I agree that personal discretion is always a good idea.

Regardless, I don't agree with the "it's the internet" justification for immature behaviour.

  • I' m not so much referring to it in the context of excusing immature behavior, as I am to the reaction of the vlogger, blogger, etc. People shouldn't be rude or hurtful, but they can be, and anytime you put yourself in a position to receive criticism, you're also voluntarily putting yourself in a position to receive hateful, inexcusable abuse. I began my first post with "Nice video," because I think it's a step in the right direction. Will it change things? Time will tell. I certainly hope so.

  • I get the sense you and me are on the same page.

I think it's absurd that people justify hate speech on the internet. I can't see someone justifying murder or physical abuse with the same logic of it having started or occurred through the internet. I'm all for freedom of speech but there's a line between speaking your mind and using hate speech.

Part of the reason this video exists is to get things moving towards a more tolerant and positive state.

  • I'd like to see the internet be a place that's a positive ideal. Imagine what it would be like if people said that you should be tolerant and respectful because "it's the internet."

  • The only part of this video that rubbed me the wrong way initially were the segments about asking people you know not to view your content. To me, that's like posting a nude picture of yourself on your front door and telling people they can't look at it. Otherwise, I am in complete agreement. I get so discouraged by all the hateful comments, and perhaps even jaded by them, since your response about the internet being a positive ideal made me stop and think, "Why does that feel so unattainable?"

  • i like this video... thanks.. it really helps...

    xoxoxo

  • a lot of people have noway to express themselves; the more internet, or youtube speciaficaly, develops itself, the more far people are from each other; as far back as 20 years ago, people had to go out and express normally to other people their emothions, because they did have any other way.

  • I appreciate videos like this; very insightful, very useful, very educational. I'm afraid there are a lot of people out there who don't quite understand the rights of the users... which ends up in a lot of controversy and unnecessary action. Thanks for letting the world know a little more about Vlogging etiquette.

  • Almost 1/2 a million views! Amazing!

  • I know, and people say the community is dead.

  • I would've enjoyed this video more if it hadn't sounded so scripted... To be honest, I make vlogs and I enjoy ALL comments, even if they're negative, you're not a true vlogger until you get disgusting hatred!

Because, let's face it, youtube IS like real life to an extent, not everyone will like you, not everyone will agree with you, people will want to start fights with you.

Also, this video could've incorporated humour just a tad more, to make it sound less preachy...

  • Fair points all around. The goal was to make the points in this video clear. Sometimes humour makes people unsure of what is meant to be taken seriously or merely as a joke.

While you may, I don't think the majority of vloggers enjoy comments calling them ugly fags or telling them to go die.

People IRL may start fights with you that doesn't mean you have to fight back. Sometimes it's better to state your opinion and walk away.

Remember, these are more like guidelines than strict rules.

  • very good points indeed.

  • nice vid.. well done!

  • stop being soft, nasty comments aint nice but aslong as the online community has a voice, they will use that voice to bitch about ANYTHING they dont like.

nice disclaimer though, mesa likes it!

  • Comment Example 1:

"I think that your view of evolution is not accurate. It is incorrect to think that evolution has a goal, it does not."

    Comment Example 2:

    "Evilution is gay n u a fugly thundercunt!!!111!"

Example #2 is bitching but it contributes nothing positive to anything. See, this video is about respect and not censorship or trying to avoid hurt feelings. This video is encouraging the community to use it's voice, to do so in a mature and responsible way.

  • I use a disclaimer on each of my videos that direct to this one.

Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together!

    -Kat

  • Nice reading guys...!

    The information is true though.

  • WTF is Vlog? :D

  • A 'vlog' is a slang term for a video log, similar to a blog.

  • So,a blog where you post videos, instead of written posts?

  • Precisely.

  • WOHOOO WELL DONE lol

  • Hey I want you to know that this video changed my life. Please post more. -vlog- haha

  • i love this video

  • omg !!

I vlog and people IRL found my yyoutube and you described how i feel exactily

  • That was really put nicely together. How'd you do that? I need to learn how to do compilations on video. I want to make one for my graduating class.

  • How to make a collaborative video:

    1. Make videos of your own.

    2. Become friends with people who also make videos.

    3. Ask those people, and people they know, if they'd like to be in your video collaboration.

    4. Be patient as you wait for them to agree or disagree to take part.

    5. Be even more patient as you wait for their clips.

    6. Edit the video together.

    7. Upload video.

  • It occurs to me you may have simply asked how I edited it. I used iMovie '09 on my macbook. You would be able to do similar things with Final Cut Express, Final Cut Pro, Premier, Vegas or any number of other programs ... but those are the programs I'd recommend. If you're working on a PC I would say that Premier is your best bet for video editing.

  • AWESOME AWESOME video. Youtube should have this included with their CoC and ToS. We needed this!!!

  • Ok i will totaly do this thanks.

  • Wow! that was a great video, I really enjoyed watching that! It really interest me. It caught my attention really quickly.

  • Really great video. =] Just came across this now. Nice work. Very well put together! x

  • Thank you Myles.

  • Good video =) I couldn't agree more. All the points were very well thought out and presented in a nice, respectful manner. I think it comes down to is respect and that golden rule of treat others the way you'd want to be treated.

  • dlpine71, not every person that doesn't have videos of themself do it for that exact reason. Some people don't like to have a video of themself on the internet where thousands of people can see it. Or they aren't that much into making videos. There are pleanty of different reasons why people react the way they do. Though you're right, those people exist as well. :-)

I like the video. It seems to be hard for a lot of people to react in a polite way.

  • I don't think dlpine71 meant to insinuate that all people who dont have their own videos and comment do so to ridicule those who have videos, just that some people do. Still, I think you (01VivaciousVixen) make good points about the subject of this video.

  • exactly my point, aaron. obviously, 01VivaciousVixen didn't understand my meaning.

    thanks,

    david

  • Nice Video , i learn a lot , a big kiss from Greece!

  • Great video, everything was thoughtful and well said. Only thing i have to add is the vlogger's who make a video and say gay marriage is wrong because they are christian and the bible says its wrong so gay people are going to go to hell or something like that. If you do make a video like that don't get mad if people disagree with you. I however don't think making hateful comments to the vlogger is right either. Just say what you have to in a respectful manner.

  • very good video!! there are those on youtube who ridicule other members because they do not have videos of themselves - so, they are not 'real'.

for me, having a video of one's possibly 'supposed' self does not validate them any more than others not having posted self video's.

    david

  • Good, good video. =]

    Nice collaboration.

  • DUDE!!!! FEATURED!!!! THIS SLIPPED BY ME!!!! congratulations man!

  • haha thanks Sam

  • this is so true im proud someone finally said this thank you very much

  • Its a nice idea... but pointless. if you dont want people to learn of your private life and/or give there opinion on it then for goodness sake dont post it on the biggest online video site on the web... but i guess it goes both ways, if your an idiot looking to pick on people that are just trying to get there voice heard then you really need to get out more :)

  • great video you guys!

  • good job

  • :55 - I disagree that a vlog is "as sacred as a diary hidden behind a bookcase". There is a contradiction there! Once the vlogger has chosen to post their private thoughts publicly to youtube, they have opened that diary and invited others to form a line.

  • Could it then not also be said that once a person chooses to write their ideas in a journal they open those ideas up to being found and read by anyone?

The comparison of a vlog to a journal is to be taken as a metaphor.

  • I just found out you got Global feature.Congrats Aaron. I still think this is a brillant point of view about vloggers.

  • Thank You Barry!

  • i agree with what they talk in the video.First rule is that we have to be respectful. Everybody have the freedom to express whatever they want.... if you don't like what they say just try to understand or just ignore it .. people don't have to think same as you think. Remember perspective about life, ideas, believes are different in every each person.

  • So true!

  • Wise, and adeptly presented.

  • Whats a Vlog?

  • The term 'vlog' is slang for 'video log' which in essence is like a journal in video form.

  • In other words simply be considerate..

  • This is a good video. There's a lot of negative things said as if it's so great to be rude.

  • good vlog :)

  • This is a very good video; everyone who makes or watches vlogs SHOULD see this video. All of the content in this video is relevant, well structured, and thought out well. I especially agree with the girl at 1:28

  • This is educational. Specially regarding vlogging watcher behaviour.

    My 5 and congratulations.

  • i agree some people leave comments on videos for the sole purpose of provoking an argument. That is very annoying and immature.

  • Yea, but there's a line albeit a fine line between opinion poorly stated and a provoking comment. Some people do take to much offense to a online person. Its like racial slurs where most people say it to get a reaction and when that (insert race) calls me a cracker/hick/hillbilly/redneck and i show no reaction they really lose interest most of the time. So sometimes it's not the poster that is at fault a lot can be blamed on the responder.

  • I agree that all people are fully capable of overreacting, unless their a Buddha or something. The purpose of this video is to suggest some guidelines to the viewer of vlogs. So, while your point is one I agree with I'm not sure it's entirely relevant. I'm still glad you brought it up though.

  • that is what i was trying to say, you put it better than i did.

  • I do like what the last woman has to say. I don't know how many times I have read a comment to a vlog, or any video on youtube for that matter, and wondered to myself; "Why are you watching? To provoke conflict?" Good vid.

  • Your getting into this too deep we are not that complicated. If you have to draw a map for us we are in bad shape but thanks for the advise anyway. This is not an negative comment just an opinion.

  • SCOD approves of collaboration *****

  • This should be a required video to watch in order to join YouTube. Although altered to be for videos in general.

I will undoubtably get hate mail for this comment, but if you have bothered to read this far.. DON'T SEND ME HATE MAIL OR COMMENTS.

  • You know what i seriously think thats a good idea. And it would stop so many dumb youtube arguments.

  • Thanks. As I looked through the comments to reply(because I can't find a way to do it from the screen I look at my comment responses), I noticed other people said the same thing about a required video.

To those that rated these comments: why is my comment rated +2 and the comment response from m0s2ah is -2, it doesn't make sense to me ☻

  • NiCe...video

  • its a cool video

  • "Diary behind a bookcase" makes no sense, I think, but the point of mutual respect between viewers and content producers is otherwise very well presented, and I think it's about time someone spelled it out. It's unfortunate that this video has already been met with some of the same mistreatment it's trying to prevent, but...baby steps. I hope more people will appreciate this video than will ridicule it.

  • The comparison of a vlog to a "diary behind a bookcase" is meant as a metaphor and is not to be taken as a literal representation.

  • Thank you for posting this video. It's amazing how ignorant people become on the internet. It's amazing how some don't read the description of the video or even really watch the video for what is obvious about the video. I do feel there are some people out there who enjoy belittling others just because they can, but in the end, they only are showing their maturity and they certainly are wasting their free time when they could be doing something more constructive.

  • the girl at 1:20 should totally give me a blowjob

  • This is a very informative and well put together video. I enjoyed it.

  • its about time someone uploaded this, i was thinking about starting a vlog for a very long while now but.. obviously i did not want to deal with the really annoying people that troll around here.

  • duh...

  • very informative

  • I appreciate what you're getting at, except that this is so patronizing.

  • That stuff you say is so true.I mean, that kind of stuff happens all the time. People judge others by what they see online, not on how they really are. I don't know why they do that, but......ya.

  • Great video.

Totally worth watching since a lot of people will learn from this.

This should be the rules of watching peoples vblog.

    Very well done!

  • One thing I've noticed about Vloggers is how articulate and well-projected many of them are. It's a far cry from the personalities I've read in the past. It's totally new.

  • So much of that apply to me and some of my viewers!

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Some great advice for the vlogging community! Well done folks! :)

  • everyone should watch this video!

  • Important vid.

    Good job, guys!!!

  • Wow... I can see through flipping through the comments on this video that this video was completely necessary... and sadly, not one person has learned anything....

  • I agree with you. People often forget that behind the face on the screen, there is an actual person. I think you did a great job :)

  • The comments are here for people to express their opinions, and you want us to do it in a format that fits your needs? I think that is immature. I think vloggers that post on here should clearly know that people that comment aren't always so sweet and conservative.

  • I do not recall anything in the video suggesting that comments only be "sweet and conservative." This video is about respect, and there's nothing immature about that.

    Comment Example 1:

"I think the lighting in your video is horrible."

    Comment Example 2:

"ur a fat homo emo bitch!!!111!"

The type of comment this video is meant to discourage can be seen in the second example. I don't think discouraging that type of comment is immature.

  • Good video, unfortunately it's kind of pointless.

The only people that will agree to this are the ones that already do these things. There are a lot of haters on youtube, and I don't think they'll exactly stop making hateful comments because of this video. :)

  • Why should people give the world information about their life? Begin with making friends in reality.

  • I'm pretty sure that the internet exists, it's not separate from reality.

  • obviously those of you who are still saying crap about other peoples videos (including this one) are the ones who have no life. You dont know how to respect other peoples opinion and yes sometimes it helps to criticize but not EVERYONE wants to be criticized. You need to know that people have feelings, not just you. Most of you who are saying crap are people who are scared to post your own videos because you are scared someone will criticeze you.

    Nice job on the vid!

  • Thanks, it gives people a lot to think about.

  • I think it was a good idea to put this stuff out there...people should keep these points in mind before commenting or judging vloggers!!

  • this i s a public place i you want privacy gtfo

  • yes it is simple common sense.

    Marketing common sense ????

Anyways you were successful , got a video hit and comment from me :)

  • This was a good informative video. All of the points made were common sense. The PSA style suited the material, and it is helpful to both seasoned youtubists as well as new-comers.

  • I don't really understand why people are so upset by this video. It's just detailing a few good rules to follow when dealing with people on the internet.

Most of it is simple common sense, but that seems to be lacking in most people nowadays.

  • Great video. You guys made some great points. I'm actualy surpised by all the bad energy following the video considering you were just trying to help people. Its kinda funny that some people complainded about this video wasting there time, then they go and post a comment which in turn wastes more of there time. Oh well it's not my place to judge. Freedom of speach right?

Anyway good video and happy Vlogging.

  • I think this video is great! We must remember that the internet is not regulated and that's why it's put to us to regulate ourselves when going online, but looks like there are way too many persons lacking this ability. This video is for them. Be respectful online. Regulate youself if you want to keep the internet free of regulations!

  • everything u guys said= agree

  • why is this video needed?

  • Jilf, Why make a video about courtesy? Ideally, we already know.

Realistically, many people comment offensively &/or seek unwelcome relationships. They may try to guilt vloggers, to be their best friends/lovers, OR to bully & make a vlogger life hell. (I've heard of a guy who wrote hundreds of emails in a month and continued to plague her for several months).

It explains vloggers' candid view on relations. It gives both vloggers & viewers options that allow everyone honor & choice.

  • nice video! congrats

  • I think it's very admirable that you try to reply to as many comments as you can. I said "comment as many videos as you can" before. Stupid lol I'm getting tired it's 1:16AM lawl

  • Btw congrats on getting featured!

  • Thank you! I try to reply to as many of the comments as I can.

  • I agree with your video. It's really frustrating when people judge me based on the types of videos I post, and assume that my videos reflect 100% of me. In fact, it's only about .006% of who I am.

Sadly, I don't think people will ever change. I posted this on my favorites in hopes that maybe I won't get slandered for the silly videos I enjoy making for fun.

  • I can understand your point in this for the most part, but I also believe that if you wish to post something on a highly public site with many viewers then you should either be prepared for all types of feedback since it is a public domain and also there is the privacy option when uploading a video here which I would say was the better decision.

  • This sort of "all or nothing" concept has been suggested before and I disagree, I think that there can be a middle ground.

  • I can understand your point in this for the most part, but I also believe that if you wish to post something on a highly public site with many viewers then you should either be prepared for all types of feedback since it is a public domain and also there is the privacy option when uploading a video here which I would say was the better decision.

  • The point of this video is to offer people who are going to give feedback some sort of guidelines for how they should give that feedback.

Also, I think that it is extremely improbable that a video uploaded to a public site will be seen by anyone and everyone who goes onto that site.

  • if i start a vlog, can I link to this page to express my disclaimer?

  • There are a few ways I can think of to link to this video in that way:

    - put it in your favorites, and display your favorites on your channel page

    - set it as the video to display on your channel page

    - put it in a playlist and set that playlist to display on your page

  • Although it sounded kinda cheesy, I definitely agree with the points of view.

  • this is no more real than life

  • Hmmm. It's like Vlogging for Dummies, in video rather than book format. I say if you're gonna get your feelings hurt, don't bother making videos.

And if you think people are gonna say things that bother you, then turn off the comments, ratings, and all that jazz. That's why it's an option. If people want to watch your videos, they're going to, regardless of some "internet code of conduct."

  • This video is not so much about preventing hurt feelings as it is about respect. Turning comments off would also prevent the positive and constructively critical comments, so I don't think that's the answer. You are right though, if someone wants to watch something no 'internet code of conduct' can stop them. This video is directed more towards people who can be more reasonable and respectful.

  • I like the ideas that were in this video i would like to add that some people get too crazy about spelling somepeople have learning problems (LD). this should not mean that they cant write anything. dont be mean its not worth it.

  • I see your point and agree with you. I personally wish more people would spell words properly but I have and would not remove a comment just because of a spelling error. I never thought about the possibility of the writer having any kind of LD but I think I will from now on.

  • 1. I like that AnythingSarcastic was in this.

    2. I also don't believe vlogging is like a diary. Any intent to publish personal thoughts to the web is not like a diary for the simple fact that you intend people to see it and perhaps expect comments, ratings, subscriptions, or favorites.

    3. This was a very good video to make, for the sake of vlog viewers everywhere. People do need to respect one another. Thanks for schooling the unschooled viewers. :)

  • The comparison of a vlog to a personal diary is meant as more of a metaphor than a literal representation.

  • I would LOVE if you would quit saying its meant more as a metaphor and try to explain your metaphor. Because I would love to give you the benefit of the doubt, but its starting to sound like an excuse. Yeah. And I really hate excuses.

  • Surely spoon feeding you in that way would be an insult to your intelligence.

  • The bitter chick at 3:46 was really scary...and I don't REALLY agree with her. Yeah, if you're an adult and it offends you then don't make a big deal and leave hate comments all over. BUT some videos include content that I'm sure even you would agree aren't appropriate for the public (which youtube is VERY public) And some people voice opinions that may differ from the vloggers because they could be WRONG. Just remember that you guys exposed yourself, you deal with the dirt

  • This video is in no way discouraging viewers from voicing their opinions. I personally think that such communication should be encouraged, so long as the opinion somehow relates to the actual vlog.

    Comment Example 1:

"I think the lighting in your video is horrible."

    Comment Example 2:

"ur a fat homo emo bitch!!!111!"

The point of this video is not to discourage constructive comments like in example #1, rather this video is discouraging comments like the one in example #2.

  • I understand that. I also hate seeing comments on vloggers' videos like the example 2 you put down. I try to rate them down...so I would understand that. But this video takes it a lot further. I wholeheartedly disagree with the guy saying videos are like personal journals. Even vloggers know that there's a possibility that thousands of people may watch, and many vloggers' goal is to get as many views as possible. If they didn't want them to be seen by everyone, they wouldn't put them on the web

  • The comparison of a vlog to a personal diary is meant as more of a metaphor than a literal representation.

Some people who upload videos may have the goal of obtaining as many views as possiable, but I think that to believe that all people who upload videos want as many views as possiable is a fallacy.

  • That someone uploads a video to the internet does not mean that they intend for everyone to view it. Just as someone who writes in a journal that they keep on their bedside table may not intend anyone with the ability to walk into their room and pick it up to read it.

  • Everyone has access to the internet. Not everyone has access to your bedside table. It's not that hard to understand.

  • Actually, not everyone does have access to the internet. That technicality aside, I think it's not very hard to understand that just because a lot of people have the ability to use the internet to find a video posted by someone does not mean that all of them will.

  • Okay, when I typed that I had a feeling you were going to say that. I suppose you're talking about the ones who can't afford internet or those who live in poor countries or something, right? You and I both know, LOTS of people have access to it. Dig? Lots more than would have access to a journal sitting on your bedside table.

  • When I compared the internet to a bedroom it was a metaphor. When Shakespeare wrote "All the world's a stage" I'm sure he did not mean that the world itself was literally built like most stages are built or that the actual world was the size of the average stage. By the same token, I did not intend to imply that the number of people with access to the bedroom where someone keeps their journal would be anywhere close to the number of people with access to an uploaded video via the internet.

  • reminds me of being in school watching those treat others the way you want to be treated videos

  • Thanks For The Advice!

Who Thought of This Video Idea?

    It's A Great Idea!

    :D

  • I agree with all points in this video except one, I think you took vlogging to an extreme with comparing it to a diary. Diary are journals that most people go through the effort to hide, a vlog that is posted to a public viewing area isn't hidden and obviously not meant to be. If you want your vlogging to be kept private, get a vdiary or something! Don't reprimand the world for viewing open content..... and I think it reminds people to think before they say or do something.

  • Throughout my life I've known a lot of people who leave their personal journals on their bedside table right in the open. I don't think that makes their journal any less private just because anyone who walks into their room could potentially take it and read it.

  • I beg to differ. While you're on the point of privacy, I would hope anyone let into my home would have the decency to not enter my bedroom without permission (If I gave them that permission, I would hide the journal). And even if I let friends into my room, or anyone else, I would hope they wouldn't go snooping around. And to take it a point further, I would hope they wouldn't take anything.

  • To take your point further, I would hope that the friends of a person who made vlogs would not snoop around on the internet to find their vlogs or watch them in secretary. While you might want to hide your journal form your friends I'm sure you can understand that not all people would, some would trust their friends not to read their journal even if it is out in the open.

  • Further, what if you lived in an apartment or dorm where you're room is shared with another person. In that instance people might be invited into your home or room by someone other than yourself. I don't think that means you should have to not write down your thoughts in a journal or have to keep such a journal locked in a safe or something.

It should be kept in mind that everyone has different levels of trust and openness.

  • Well, I guess that's the difference right there. Personally I think that my room is very different from the internet. Seriously, if vloggers just want certain people to see their videos, then show them to those certain people in a secure place. I don't know, maybe their living room or something. It's the world wide web. You can't do that! You're right, everyone has different levels of trust. It would be naive to leave a journal out among people you don't trust. Let alone ones you don't know.

  • I believe that a world view in which you assume anyone you don't know is untrustworthy is a very pessimistic way to live life. You may call the belief that a stranger can treat another stranger with respect naive, perhaps it is at least to some extent but I think that there can be some sort of middle ground.

  • a vlog is like awesome cake on awesome day.

  • can i ask if there was anything specific that provoked making this video?

probably everyone who has a vlog should have this on up on their page. good idea... as some of the comments here suggest... people can be ugly. it's time for something like this to be enforced.

  • No, nothing specific provoked making this video.

  • Honestly, this is all common sense. It screams "How not to be a creepy internet stalker jaggoff". Moral? If you need this video, seek professional help. Not the Internet.

  • it is about time that someone or in this case some ppl state how to be safe while blogging way to go guys woo hoo

  • OMGoodness! A video and message whose time has definitely come. Will be faving and linking to in my blog. Thank you! Y'all did a fantastic job.

BTW, these same rules apply to people who have personal blogs! :)

    5 Stars!!

  • Well done on the video and getting featured, I believe the only YouTubers who will disagree with you are those who don't understand vlogging and fire comments of ridicule from behind a monitor. Again, well done

    All the best,

    Danny

  • NOOOOO i just lost the game

  • Me too. haha

  • 3:33 to 3:43 ... It's the FAB FOUR! lol

  • lol was this the video you messaged me about getting featured? Congrats.

  • Hey Jon,

    Yes, actually it was. haha

    Thanks!

  • ok first off i did not understand anything except the last girl im 18 years old but plz can u not use the big words most of them i dont understand

  • nice!!

  • Very informative.

  • This is all very true, and it would be nice if people would abide by it. However, I don't think this is going to make any rude youtubers have an epiphone about their rudeness. If they didn't know where to draw the line in the first place, they're not going to recognize it now. Vlogging is all about putting yourself out there, and if you can't accept all that entails, then don't vlog.

  • Excellent video.

  • Great thoughts ya'll!

  • cool video! it really help!

    (:

  • cool man

  • i really liked this and agree with it ... nice message fro people online and could be used for any and every source we all use to interact with others online!

  • but not to make fun of people and poke behind there back those kind of videos should be taken down. Also people getting isp address and posting them is retarded that is a criminal act by the way and can be justified.

  • why doesnt youtube just block there ips im pretty sure people who act stupid and threaten on the internet are not going to be able to jump on computer to computer and also youtube should be able to know what is viewing there content like if it is school or something and people are playing games. These kind of acts i agree are violation and upseting to youtube users who actually want to use the site for musicians acting and other

  • I loved the part about not judging people based on what they choose to say in their vlogs!

I vlog about silly things that happen to me during the day (like embarrassing stories, etc.) and I get comments slandering me because they think I am shallow and stupid.

It's very mean and hurts my feelings when people judge me so quickly when they don't even know me!

  • well done , people allways assume they know me by my vids.
